I'm picking the Bears. I said Bears vs. Colts mid season would meet in the Super Bowl. I retracted that statement by picking the Colts to lose twice to the Chiefs then Ravens. I also picked Seattle. While neither team has had a convincing win I'm going to go with what I said earlier and my gut rather than the logical choices.

With that said a Saints vs. Patriots Super Bowl would be the ultimate David vs. Goliath match up. Either way it?s been a great playoff season thus far.

I've never said that the Bears aren't a good team. In fact, they would be my favorite to win the Super Bowl IF Rex Grossman wasn't so inconsistant. That's the problem with the Bears though, Rex Grossman's inconsistancy is a glaring weakness so picking the Bears isn't the slam dunk pick that it should be with the incredible defense. I'm not sure why I should think the Bears are a slam dunk pick considering that they squeeked by the Seahawks. I do think the Bears better respect the Saints because the Saints certainly have the weapons to test that defense. Mostly, I would pray that Grossman shows up ready to play. That doesn't mean that I don't respect the Bears, but I can't make anyone a slam dunk pick when their starting QB has put up 3 games with a QB rating of 10 or less. Also, the defense hasn't held an opponent under 21 since December 3rd. Having said all of that, I think next week's game should be very competitive and I haven't made up my mind who I think will win the game. I just know that I won't be "betting the house" on either one of them.

Boohoo! The Bears were sluggish and dodged a bullet.

Bottom line; the mercurial Grossman outplayed Hasselbeck which is no surprise as Matt chokes in Big games.

Colts/Saints would be the most entertaining Super Bowl.

Did Mike Holmgren appear to be having a heart attack on the sidelines? Mike, go get that checked out.

I expect Grossman to play like crap against the Saints, he is the Bears weakness and it shows big time. He is inconsistent and he's due for a terrible game which is why they will lose out next game.

That is usually the way it works. Someone will make a prediction before the game starts, and then we see if they were right or not. If we waited until the game was already underway, then it's not as fun.

He's right! He did predict that it would come down to the Colts/Bears.

lol this looks like it could get ugly

Well the Bears didnt really play that great so i cant see why youre mad that people picked Seattle over the Bears. The Bears D isnt playing as great as they were in the beginning of the year and i really dont like Grossman so ill pick the Saints.

I am going to hope that Saban succeeds Coughlin as Giants coach.

I've been saying the Bears aren't as good as everyone was making them at the beginning of the season. I think their appearance this past weekend showed just how subpar they are - they barely won against a very average Seattle team (yes, the same team that lost to the 49ers).

I would expect the Saints to roll, except for the fact that I haven't seen any Saints games this season, so really don't know how they will match up against each other. I also question how well the Saints will play in Chicago in cold weather.

If the Bears do get to the SB, regardless of who they play, I think they will definitely lose.

I agree I think Saints win & rather convincingly. New Orleans has actually faired better on the road this season. The Bears D has been mediocre of late. How they stop the 2 headed monster of Deuce & Bush is beyond me.

I don't think the Saints will be able to effectively handle the cold weather. They are used to the swamps and sweating at 6:30 A.M., not scraping thick ice off of their windows.
