They were better, the Bears just haven't looked the same since mid-season. I remember when they shalacked the Seahawks early in the season thinking that they had the best defense ever. But it didn't hold true all season and they were picked apart tonight.

And Grossman just doesn't have the confidence to stand in and win games.

losing 2 pro bowlers really affected the D. Next year they will be back, and hopefully ready towin it all

That stretch where the Bears D was on the field for the latter half of the 2nd thru the early part of third was the difference. Urlacher & Co got worn down.

Grossman, you knew, would eventually force something.

Peyton Manning can't be God. That would make him Brett Favre's father.

Lance Briggs is probably going to leave via free agency but I think you can find someone like Rufus Alexander in the Draft to replace him.

However the Bears top off season goal has to be get Lovie Smith a contract extension. If they let that guy go then I'll be a very happy Packer fan because that would be the worse decision the franchise could make in my opinion.

If Lovie stays I think they?ll be back and possibly win one.

If he goes then I don?t think they get back for a while.
