I never paid much attention to it and figured it was just a fad, but I see kids at the gym doing it now and saw Andrew Bynum do it last night. After making a basket they stare at their hand and wave it. I've seen players from Shaq to Deshawn Stevenson doing it.

    Where did this come from?

I thought it was John Cena. He uses that to taunt his "opponents". It means "you can't see me."

He probably got it from G-Unit, just like Tim Thomas and all these other kids.

Personally, I think it's ridiculous, but whatever.

I remember Darius Miles, Quentin Richardson, Ricky Davis, and even Corey Maggette used to do that horn on the head thing. Not sure what it's called, but it was pretty odd.

I'm pretty sure Shaq started it, after he hit a shot with his off hand. I can't remember when or against whom he did it, but it was a big deal at the time. I'm pretty sure it was in his Laker days though.

DeShawn Stevenson was the first player I ever saw use it back in November.
