Me and a couple of friends at school had more to talk about the commercials than the game for some reason. I was a bit disappointed with this years ads compared to the previous two.

But my favorite has to be the snickers one, where two guys accidentally kiss and one of them says, "Quick, do something manly!" And they both rip hairs off their chests.

Another good one was a beer commercial (maybe busweiser?). Where two guys hold onto the last beer and they play rock paper scissors. One of them puts paper and the other throws a rock. The one that gets hit says, "But I threw paper, paper beats rock." The other guys says, "Yeah, but I threw a rock."

Other notables? Which one were your favorites?

I liked the one where at 3pm Robert Goulet (sp?) comes and messes with your stuff.

The Snickers and Bud Light ones MK mentioned were two of my favorites. Another one i likled was also Bud Light. The couple is driving down the road and see a hitch hiker. "Hey! Hes Got Bud Light!" "But hes got an Axe!" "So? Hes got Bud Light!"

There was also another budweiser one where a guy taught immigrants how to ask for beer around the world.

I, too, thought the commercials were weak. I agree w/ PA that the Robert Goulet one was good.

My Faves were; the career builder where they all run off the cliff & Taco Bell's talking lions. I liked the spot with Oprah & Letterman.

I can't believe I missed Carlos Mencia. Dee. Dee dee.

I'm not sure what the commerical was for, but I thought that rabbit and the guinea pig stepping on the mouse and what not was pretty funny. I also liked the "Rock, Paper, Scissors" and the "Manly" Snickers commercial. I can't even really say that I remember any other ones, honestly.

I think that was a blockbuster one where they were trying to shop online, LMAO! Another one that was pretty interesting was the Chevy one where random guys on the street were stripping to give a carwash.

I'm trying to find some of those commercials so I can watch them again.

My favorite was the beard comb over, but I'm partial to anything Jim Gaffigan. Although the karate class ad was a total dud.

Jim Gaffigan is hilarious. If you watch his stuff, you'll know what I mean when I lightly sing 'Hot-pockets...'

My favorite commercial was actually a local commercial. It had Ragnar, the Vikings mascot, in front of a green screen saying "Playoffs?!!! ..p..p..Playoffs????"

Other than that, the Oprah/Letterman commercial was good.

Yeah not only do I have his Beyond the Pale dvd, but I got to see him live last summer. He played a side role in a comedy series on TBS called My Boys that was kinda lame, but he got his wife to play herself in the season finale.

My boys was lame other than the mention of my favorite band - Queensryche - in the premiere.

TBS IMO needs to stick to what they are good at shows in syndication and games of America's team... the Atlanta Braves.

I thought that putting Favre in the "it's hard to say goodbye" commercial was a nice touch. [IMG]
