Please tell me that your kidding. Arrington had 14 solo tackles and 2 assists last year. He had 1 sack. Just because the whores of media keep putting his name in the headlines, doesn't mean that it deserves to be there. Arrington is a joke and a bad one at that. He's the Freddie Mitchell of linebackers.

Well the Giants GM would disagree with you, "LaVar's situation is unfortunate because he was just starting to really become a factor in our defense at the time of his injury,"

say what you want but 3 years, 2 playoff berths. Im sure you will say thats despite of him, but I like hard nosed coaches. Sure he goes overboard, but Ill take it over the way too calm all the time type coach.

Well, the Giants GM is an idiot that relies on the laziness and lack of knowledge of most football fns to buy into his bull. It doesn't take much effort to go to NFL.com and look up Arrington's player page and see that he doesn't produce on field. The fact is that he hasn't had a 100 tackles in the last three years combined so the word that would probably best describe him is parasite. Gibbs was right for unloading him.

By the way, BF1, you should stop insulting crap by comparing it to Arrington. I'm sure that Coughlin wishes that Arrington was crap that way someone might, at the very least, slip on him.

You mean like Tony Dungy and Lovie Smith? Not me. I'd rather see my team in the Super Bowl.

^ thank god Whitfield is gone.... this years draft should prove to be a very important one for the Giants. Needs at LB and OL as well as a great CB are all apparent. I am deeply disappointed with the announcements of Ashante Samuel and Briggs being Franchised. The Giants had their eyes on both.

In that case, Troy Aikman had his career ended after getting hit by a girl.</div>
Nah that was just the last straw... eagles pounded aikman every sunday gave him over 8 concousions... But you know how the story goes the smallest one gets the last hit [IMG].</div>
I'm sure it was just the Eagles that put the hurt on Troy. [IMG] Perhaps the Eagles should concentrate on winning a Championship rather than wasting time seeing how many players they can hurt. Troy has three more Super Bowl rings than any Eagle defender that hit him. If you want to go back a little farther, while the Eagles were thumping their chest over the Bodybag Game, Gibb's Redskins came back the next year and won the Super Bowl.</div>
I didnt say it was just the eagles i just said that the eagles gave him over 8 concusions... Like i said i could care less if the eagles never win a superbowl as long as they are good every year. When it comes down to it rings might mean allot to you but not to me i just like my team prove people wrong every year. No matter what happens they are always a competitor. A championship would be nice but it dont matter, what do i care if aikman has a superbowl and if the redskins won the superbowl it dont matter!!. I have something to root for even if it is eagles pounding the shit out of players and making them retire, and that cowboys team that won the superbowls were a disgrace, atleast the players on philadelphia werent snorting coke together.

I am curious to see how the phins react when not if they raise the Lombardi trophy. I am just glad it won't be during the tenure of JJ's buddy... they would have gone down faster than the sparring partner for an angry apathetic Mike Tyson.

Nah i have allot of hope for my team, but if they dont win it wouldnt matter because my team is always good, they are always a competitor. Thats way better then having a 1 and done team. If they do win a superbowl awsome, but if not it dont matter.

Ummm, thats not actually true. First of all i am saying losing super bowl is bad, and only winning title counts, your argument would be better to console myself from loss, since all i would care about is that they are consistently good, not winning the title. So your entire premise is flawed. Secondly, the eagles lost game by 2 scores, and werent in at the end, just like bears.

No, eagles lost the game by a field goal...and were in the game throughout the whole thing, and wether or not my team won or lost..the fact that they were there made me happy, and no only that but the fact that we went back to the postseason after a 6-10 season made me happy also. My point is my team is in the race for the best in the nfl every year, past 4 or 5 years they have been the favor to win the superbowl, and even though they havent won and or made it... that says something about the team. Eagles will win a superbowl soon but im just enjoying the ride...watching teams who were the best fall every year.
