no longer be a fan and I will take my recently bought glock and shoot the crap out of everything that I own that has a Vikings logo. Than I will burn the remaining shreds of clothing on to a grill and watch it go up. If I have to this than the team of choice will have to be the Titians in the AFC and maybe I hate to say or show but the Green Bay Packers will be my NFC team.

Ummm that doesn't make you much of a fan if you are a team jumper.. just because your team sucks doesn't mean u should stop being a fan.. I am a bears fan my avatar explains that.. i have been a fan for aslong as i remember.. i have been threw the bad years and belive me there are alot more bad then good.. but the Vikings will get out of this rut all they need is to find consistancy

first off if you ever considered urself a vikings fan then u would never switch over to teh Packers... 2nd off team jumping doesnt gain any respect around here. I've been a Jets fan through the good and teh bad and its been mostly bad, the exciting part about being a fan is watching your favorite team come back from a downer, for instance the Jets 4-12 season to the 10-6 season. people that team jump arent really fans IMO

I can understand his frustration, though. The Vikings aren't just going through a tough period, they are downright dismantling the team right now. Currently our WRs under contract are Williamson, McMullen (who?), and Bobby Wade. We let Travis Taylor go, and released Marcus Robinson. Neither of those guys were that good, but they were much better than what we currently have. Plus, we've lost depth at our defensive line.

And what has the team done to help the situation? Signed special teams players to become the 'focal point' in Chilly's 'kick-ass' offense.

That being said, I'll still follow the games, I just won't be as upset if I happen to miss a game or two because of another obligation.

Former Ram's WR Kevin Curtis is suposed to decide between Minnesota, Philadelphia and Detroit by Monday. I know Martz wants Curtis as his #2 WR. Williams, Curtis and Furrey. Sounds like the Vikings may be more willing to overpay.

For someone who grew up a phins fan (Curtis), I'm surprised he hasn't come down to S Fla.

KC will always be okay in my book. Utah natives who are/were phin fans are alright. His only drawback was going to Utah St... could be worse... could be disneyland east I mean BYU.

The fall of the Vikings was when they gave Mike Tice the Head Coaching job instead of finding a new candidate. To state the obvious Trading Moss and Culpepper was pretty stupid as well.

Childress doesn't really excite me as a coach either.

The thing is that I cannot stand for it anymore. The closest I have every seen the Vikings be great is in 1998, I have invested about a quarter of a century into that team and they really don't have much to show for it. Plus it would make sense that I switch to be a cheese head because I currently live in an area where half the fans are Vikings fans and the other half are Packers fans. I really don't care about being called a team jumper.

will someone get the crybaby vikings fan out of here already. i cannot stand fairweather fans in this world whatsoever. it reminds me of high school when the cowboys were winning superbowls left and right and all you would see in the halls was cowboy starter coats it was sickening to say the least! ive been a bears fan since i was 4 years old, the first football player i ever seen play the beautiful game was one Walter Payton and i was hooked on that autumn afternoon of 1983. and honestly saying the vikes are going to go 8-8 is a huge stretch, your receiving corps is bunk and that starting Qb of yours is simply a joke! have fun with your 3-13 season in minny...

there is nothing worse in the nfl than a fairweather crybaby!

Speaking as someone who grew up with Packers teams led by Lynn Dickey, Anthony Dilweg, Randy Wright and Don Majkowski while watching Walter Payton and Barry Sanders run all over us year in and year out, it made it all the sweeter when Brett Favre and Reggie White came along and turned things around.

It will happen for the Vikings, too. Stick to your guns, man.

i like what pack attack had to say, and a lot of nfl fans have to realize this your team will not always be on top. it comes in cycles to say the least, everyone in the nfl has had their dog days and their good ones, well with the exception of the detroit lions j/k j/k. but, i remember those pack teams as well just like i remember the bears teams led by erik kramer, kordell stewart, chris chandler, i can go on and on it was like qb musical chairs once harbaugh went away. but it does make it that much more sweeter, i still have a bitter taste in my mouth from the superbowl it wont leave until were back there again hopefully soon. you have to keep hope with your team and one day when they do make it you can look back at all those hard fought loosing seasons and smile wider and brighter knowing you went through it all with that team. stick to your vikes my friend and for the love of god dont shoot anything!
