    according to Adam Schefter, Matt Schuab has been traded for a 2nd rounder with possibly more compensation.

    This spells the end of Carr, wonder were he ends up? I hear Tampa's looking for another QB... lmao!

    So, do the Falcons have any QB's on their roster now? [IMG]

    Heh, exactly what I was thinking. I wish Schuab could've went somewhere that would be easier for him to be the starter, I'd really like to see him to prove himself.

    I wouldn't be surprised to see Carr go to someone like the Chiefs.

    ^ ive even heard Carr to Greenbay if Rodgers is traded for Moss. Replacing one Tedford guy with another...yipee lol. Though I think Carr if give a chance to start somewhere else willl LIGHT it up, he's the one tedford QB i actually think can succeed.

    the terms of the deal are interesting IMO;

    <div align="center"><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Atlanta and Houston will flip-flop first-round picks in April's draft, and Atlanta will receive Houston's second-round picks in 2007 and 2008. The deal likely will be completed later Wednesday afternoon. Houston has the No. 8 pick in the first round of the draft, while Atlanta is slotted 10th.</div>

    If by "interesting" you mean "The Texans gave up too much," then I agree with you. Two second round picks? Jeez...

    2 2nd rounders, and a Swap of 1st rounders! Falcons made out like theives here, they move up 2 spots to get right into the Laron Landry Race. and then grab a 2nd this year and next year.

    The only thing that could hurt the Falcons is if Vick gets hurt, their season could be one of the worst ever, if he gets hurt early in the season. To prevent this they need to bring in a solid veteran.

    I think the reason the texans moved back is so they can take Levi Brown, who at #8 was a reach but at 10, i think it will be an okay pick. If you give Schaub a good line, he could easly be one of the top AFC QBs, but they have to make sure that line is solid, because he is just gonna get killed with the line Carr played with, at least Carr has pretty good mobility.

    Just shows how much faith they have in Carr and how desperate they are. I'm not even sure if Schaub is even that good. Sure he looked good behind Vick but what about full time? Good move for Falcons because they can maybe take a backup in the second round with either picks.

    I'd hate to say goodbye to Drew Stanton... I was hoping the Ravens might pick him but...

    Schaub is not that accomplished so it could be thought of as too much.

    Pick swapping, I thought, is used in lieu of a pick and that is what I meant by interesting

    Further, I've heard Houston was considering drafting Brady Quinn. The trade may throw a wrench into the works regarding that speculation.

    This def throws a wrench into the draft now though lol! I wouldn't doubt if Atlanta goes after a QB on the first day again, ala Greenbay style. But I also wouldn't doubt if they went after someone liek Aaron Brooks(Cousin of Ron Mexico) to back up the head Honcho himself [IMG]

    Well if Shaub is so great then he should have no trouble

    I've read that Atl & the Raiders may be working something out to get R Mexico another target (CJ) he will look at for a second or two and then run.
