I feel for the guy. I remember when he was drafted & the excitement that built around here. Following Kraft's purchase of the franchise & the naming of Parcels as HC, Bledsoe was the biggest move to Pats fans at the time. He may have failed in that SB against the Packers, but imagine what would have become of the Patriots had they selected Rick Mirer instead?
The biggest shame of all is that in all the fawning over Tom Brady, fans have lost sight that, without Bledsoe leading the Pats to victory over the Steelers in the AFC Championship Game after Brady got hurt, the Patriots wouldn't have made it the Super Bowl. I hope Bledsoe learns to wear that Super Bowl ring with pride because he earned it as much as anyone.

NFL fans have been bashing Bledsoe mercilessly for the last several years and I don't here ANYONE talking about how important Bledsoe was to the Patriots first Super Bowl victory.
