<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (blackadder)</div><div class='quotemain'>For the record, I wasn't mad and there is no need to apologize. I was perplexed at yet another Brady Quinn is the answer for the phins post. Not surprisingly, Dale, yours had the most logic behind the reason why.

I am tired of the irrational rantings from by fans (regardless of team) who for whatever reason think that they alone have the simple solution/quick fix/easy answer for their teams problems.

Am I alone in thinking that everyone one oversimplifies the personnel aspect of running an NFL team? This IMO is the most complex, dynamic, & unpredictable aspect of a franchise. It has nothing to do w/ Occam's razor despite what some think.</div>
Well, I didn't intend for my post to sound like I think the Brady Quinn IS the answer. I don't know if he will be a good QB or not. Maybe Montana, maybe Mirer, maybe somewhere in the middle. I do think that if Quinn is available that he might be worth taking. I would rather the Dolphins go the route of taking a chance on a young QB than keep taking guys that other teams don't want anymore. The NFL Network has been running a Top 10 show and one episode was dedicated to the top 10 draft classes by individual teams. The 74 Steelers were number one with four Hall of Famers and no one else had more than two in any given year. Keep in mind that these are the very best. No one is going to get a Hall of Famer every year. So, what would constitute a good draft class? A couple of starters? Actually, I would be interested in reading a statistical breakdown on draft classes. What are the odds of finding a franchise QB based on draft position? Or finding starters at other positions based on draft positions?

I have been saying that about BQ for weeks. If BQ is available @ 9 and the BPA on Mueller/Cam's board then so be it.

Again, the draft is a crapshoot. Given Mueller's history, Adrian Peterson's injury status, the Weis/Crennel connection as well the Browns being Brady's hometown team, I just think he's off the board @ #3.

We'll find out in about 27 hours what happens w/ the #9 pick.Though, I am more interested in #40 and #60.
