It's more so that I didn't think Childress would pull the plug because he was a big part of the reason why Chester Taylor was signed to Minnesota in the 1st place. However Randy Mueller (I think) lived up to his statement of taking the best player on the board. I would've want AP over Quinn because I think you got the best combination of size and speed at the running back position since dare I say Bo Jackson.

One of the talking heads said after the selection that Childress came from Philly where they have a RB by committee approach. The speculation was if the Vikes didn't take Quinn then Miami was supposed to do so which I was not thrilled about.
