When RW was on the Dan Patrick show, a few weeks ago, he sounded very at peace w/ himself. Yet, I got the impression he did not need the what he thought was unneeded stress. With Mueller being GM & the drafting of L Booker, it was very slim that Ricky would be in A & O for the upcoming season. Now, well... In retrospect, the only thing I have issues w/ Ricky for was the timing of his initial retirement. I don't condone doing drugs but we are all human so I'll let it slide. However, if he did it willingly again to duck responsibility/real life then I have no empathy for him whatsoever.
Ricky is the poster child for those who don't learn from their mistakes.. Its a shame that so much talent is being wasted.. oh well he did this to himself and don't feel sorry for him.. i just feel bad for the organization the invested so much in him.. I think Ricky deserves a life time ban.. let him go play in the arena league 2 with quincy carter

Forget the talk about Rickey "falling off the wagon" or "succumbing to addiction". THC (active chemical) is no more addictive than chocolate. The only willpower that he needs to stay away from it is the same willpower that one may need to eat a salad for lunch instead of a Whopper. The guy knew that he was going to make another run at the NFL, so why did he use it again? He was a professional athlete, one would think that he is used to making good decisions about what to put into his body.
I agree w/ ROTR about willpower & why did Ricky do it again. The more I think about it; he is IMO ducking responsibility and therefore I have no sympathy for him. I'd like to know when in April he toked up? I bet its after they drafted Booker. That and knowing it was Mueller who traded him caused to much "stress" for him to deal with. So much for Yoga relieving Stress. Hopefully, Yoga yields better results for C-pep's flexibility.
