    Trades: Dallas get Cleveland?s #8.
Cleveland gets New Orleans #31 for their 2nd rounder ?08, and 3rd in ?08 and ?09

    1. Houston Texans: Darren McFadden RB Arkansas

Houston didn?t fill there needs at offensive weapon during the free agent or draft, so they suffer, loose some games, and wind back up at the #1 spot. They address the need, and he will learn from Ahman Green, and will take off pressure from Matt Schuab and Andre Johnson.

    2. Miami Dolphins: Brian Brohm QB Louisville

They pass on Quinn which was a HUGE mistake in 2007, so they loose and get the #2. I can see them trading down here, but that would be just as worse as passing on Quinn. They make a smart move here and go with the best quarterback available, and already have weapons in Ted Ginn and Keyshawn Johnson. Even though they have John Beck, they can use him for trade bait and take Brohm.

    3. Detroit Lions: Jake Long OT Michigan

The biggest, baddest tackle to come out this year. Not as good as Joe Thomas, but good enough to be the third overall pick in this years draft. Detroit showed it can be a good team, and hinted what kind of future is ahead. Jon Kitna has a couple of years in him still, and Drew Stanton is promising. With Jeff Buckus on the other side, it will be a good tackle duo.

    4. Washington Redskins: Rey Maualuga LB USC

Washington has a good, young DB corps in Sean Taylor, Laron Laundry, and Carlos Rogers. The loss of Lavar Arrington hits hard, and won?t be able to compete with the NFC East unless they have a solid d. If it works out so that teams are scared to pass on them and choose to run against them, they will be screwed and give up a lot a game. They could go Mario Manningham here also.

    5. Oakland Raiders: Early Doucet WR LSU

JaMarcus Russell showed a little bit what he is capable of doing, and made a statement saying he needs weapons. Zach Miller is a good red zone target, but they need a long ball threat. Who better than a former teammate that knows each other? Mario Manningham is also a possibility here, but JaMarcus insist that he wants his former teammate.

    6. Tampa Bay: Desean Jackson WR California

They didn?t get Calvin Johnson last year, actually they didn?t even get a WR that is good. Ouch. This is a good pick, over Mario Manningham? I don?t think so, but they pull a Miami and pick the small WR.

    7. New York Giants: Steve Slaton RB West Virginia

Reuben Droughns is old, washed out, and not a very good back. Plain and simple. If the Giants want to win, they either need to put a line together, or get another RB to give them a running attack like they had when Tiki Barber was running the ball for them.

    8. Green Bay Packers: Mario Manningham WR Michigan

This pick is easy but it?s not. Bret Farve is back , and they need protection and playmakers. Since Bret Farve only has Donald Driver, they go playmaker and choose the easy choice, Mario. Will form a good duo in him and Donald and eventually Brandon Jackson will become a good starter.

    9. *Dallas Cowboys: Sam Baker OT USC

If you have two picks in the first round, than you need to address needs. There are three good tackles in the draft, and one has been picked and the other is not as good as Baker. Baker has good feet and can play either tackle.

    10. Pittsburgh Steelers: Antoine Cason CB Arizona

Deshawn Townsend is the only decent CB they have, and he?s only decent. Troy P. is still good, but they need more. They get a good CB here, and he will help defend the pass immediately. He will help on the run as well.

    11. Arizona Cardinals: Kenny Phillips S Miami (Florida)

Big steal here. He was suppose to go top 5 but falls into the Cardinals lap and they take him. Offense should be good in a year or two, so unless it?s OL, they won?t draft anyone on O. They need a Centerfielder who can be a ball hawk and a hitter. Miami will struggle, but he will be a separated star.

    12. St. Louis Rams: James Laurinatis LB Ohio State

They missed out on Patrick Willis a year ago, but they get a chance on a better LB. Adam Carriker will move to DT, so you could argue here a DE here and you can argue a WR, but they go with BPA.

    13. Carolina Panthers: Calias Campbell DE Miami

They got Jon Beason a year ago , and I thought it was a BIG mistake because Quinn was still there. They need defensive help, and who better than the best DL than Campbell?

    14. Atlanta Falcons: Jared Gaither OT Maryland

They are showing that they can be a great team, but offense and injuries will kill them and so they will get a high pick in the draft, and help the offense. Mike Vick still shows signs of doubt, but they believe in him and want to give him help.

    15. Kansas City Chiefs: Chris Long DE Virginia

Kansas City has a high powered offense if two people pan out: Dwayne Bowe and Brodie Croyle. Both are still young and a bigger need is defense. Long will help keep the line somewhat decent and he will become a good starter.

    16. Minnesota Vikings: Colt Brennen QB Hawaii

He is one of my favorite QB?s, and I think he will be a great QB in the NFL. Yes, I said great. He will excel with Adrian Peterson in his backfield. Second round they might want to grab a WR, maybe James Hardy or Derrick Williams.

    17. Buffalo Bills: Lawrence Jackson DE USC

He is a playmaking defensive end and will be a reminder to the Bills fans of a guy named Bruce Smith. I don?t think Chris Kelsay is anything special, and Jackson can even go to DT, if they want him there.

    18. Seattle Seahawks: Justin King CB Penn State

Seattle is falling downhill and need to get back on track. Hassleback is old, same goes for Alexander, and the defense is poor. Seneca Wallace will be able to fill the need of QB, and they should either trade for Mike Turner, or sign a F/A. Here, they help the defense and take a good DB that can start immediately.

    19. Philadelphia Eagles: Dan Conner LB Penn State

I was going to put Glen Dorsey here, but I thought how young Broderick Bunkley is and how Mike Patterson is still young, too. There LB?s are Jeremiah Trotter, Takeo Spikes, and Dan Roper. Two questions popped into my head: How much do Trotter and Spikes have in them, and Will Roper be any good? You never know, so in this case, I draft a LB, either put in a 3-4 scheme, or rotate the LB, so that they all can be a key part.

    20. Tennessee Titans: Marcus Monk WR Arkansas

Tennessee could be easily in the mid-20?s right now if they got a WR, either Robert Meachem, Dwayne Bowe or even Dwayne Jarrett. Vince Young will have a poor sophomore season, because of two things: NO weapons, and the Madden Curse. That being said, they will win about 7 games and get a good weapon.

    21. Jacksonville Jaguars: Andre Woodson QB Kentucky

The franchise has been saved. I fell in love with this guy last year in his bowl game. He is big, fast and has a rocket for an arm. What surprises me the most is how he thrives at Kentucky? Be ready though, because Kentucky will do big things this year.

    22. New York Jets: Glen Dorsey DT/DE LSU

There offense is pretty good, they just need a 3rd WR. Not a big problem, unlike there DL. Glen Dorsey was thought to be a Top 10 pick, but slid down and is at New York?s lap. Will anchor the line for years.

    23. Baltimore Ravens: Limas Sweed WR Texas

They have a good WR in Mark Clayton, and Derrick Mason is getting old. Although they need a QB, they think that Smith will be good, and they want to give him targets. Sweed will make a good duo with Clayton.

    24. Cincinnati Bengals: Vernon Gholston DE Ohio State

A massive DE, who can play DT also, and will fill in for the injured David Pollack. He is from Ohio and can be a home town hero if he fills out. Great upside and can really perform in the big leagues.

    25. *New England: Andre Fluellen DT/DE

They would rather have had Glen Dorsey here, but he didn?t fall that much, so they get the next best. Andre will add youth to this line, and can learn behind good veterans, like Richard Seymour. This pick is also just depth because they won the superbowl?. Again.

    26. Chicago Bears: Chad Henne QB Michigan

The Bears struggled and didn?t make it to the superbowl this year because of two things: Lance Briggs and Rex Grossman. Lance forced them to trade him ( Does anybody know why?) or will sit out. They make him sit out, and he becomes a F/A this year. Rex started out with Greg Olsen, but then died out as the year went on ( sound familiar?). Lovie Smith is tired of him, and drafts the QB of the future. Henne has a bright future.

    27. Indianapolis Colts: Frank Okam DT Texas

They lost a lot of defense in the past off season. They need a young DL, who can anchor the Line. Okam has good experience playing in Texas, and will compliment Dwight Freeney.

    28. Dallas Cowboys: Malcolm Jenkins CB Ohio State

Dallas filled a need earlier in the draft by drafting Sam Baker. Now, they add help to the other side of the ball, my drafting a CB. Jerry Jones has extra picks in the draft and will use them wisely. Jenkins will have a big year, and anchor the secondary on the Buckeyes top 5 defense.

    29. Denver Broncos: Fred Davis TE USC

Jay Cutler will have a big year. Plain and simple, even though he has practically no weapons, besides Rod Smith. This is a good pick up, I think he can start helping immediately and they will get a future Pro Bowl TE.

    30. San Diego Chargers: Zach Bowman CB Nebraska

The secondary, QB, and WR is the only things that this team has questions on. Phillip Rivers is still young and has many weapons to be good, and he?s pretty good at times. Craig Davis was a reach last year, but they like him and believe in him. Secondary is a major hole, and will fill that here. Bowman might need time, but will pan out to be a good CB.

    31. *Cleveland Browns: Ian Johnson RB Boise State

Cleveland signed Lewis to a one year deal, and will probably resign him to teach a younger guy. Johnson will prove himself to everyone that he isn?t a joke. He will run for over 2,000 yards and 30 td?s. He is to tempting and is perfect for the Cleveland Browns. Mike Hart or Ray Rice could go here, too.

    32. New England Patriots: Will Arnold OG LSU

The Patriots dominated this year, both sides of the ball. Randy Moss goes back to his Pro Bowl status, Laurence Maroney has a 1,000 yard year, and Brady does it again. Now they have to first round picks. How unfair? They add depth, like I said at the number 25 pick. Arnold could be a starter in the near future.

Well, that was my 1st rounder, second round coming soon. IM me at bathinapes54 for any questions, comments or suggestions.
    Thanks

nice work although your prediction that the Niners are making it to the playoffs doesn't sit well with me. As a Pats fan of course I'm hoping the Niners lose every game in 07. [IMG]

I think the Texans will win more games than the Raiders do this year. I certainly don't think they'll be picking number one overall.

Then again, I live in Houston. I'm the eternal optimist. [IMG]

I don't see the Ravens taking a WR let alone anyone on offense next year. We already have Demetrius Williams who may step into the starting lineup if Mason leaves. We might address the cornerback position with McAlister and Rolle getting up in the years.

When did Keyshawn go to the dolphins?

How do you think the panthers not taking Brady Quinn was a problem??? We have a QB in Delhomme that has gone to the super bowl, and David Carr who is a good young QB that started 5 straight years and was the 1st overall pick in the 2002 draft. Carr given protection is gonna do great!

First, Quinn was NOT the 2nd coming of Marino or anybody else. Cameron got the QB he wanted.

Second, The Dolphins will not draft in the top 10 next year.

Lastly, Bakes; you need to change your signature or supply me with plenty of Pepto Bismol. [IMG] I can only surmise that you are not a fan of the Backstreet boobs or out of sync.

Hard to imagine the Vikings winning that many games with Jackson at QB.

I'll bet had he declared that he would have gone @ #9 if still on the board.

Brohm will be a better NFL QB than Quinn. Guaranteed.

Yea mr.tom brady you just wait and see i mean with the mass arsenal that GB got for farve this season is unheard of.. Morency at RB doesn't get better then that.. One reciver in driver and no clear #2 option.. thats baller.. An over the hill TE in franks.. an unproven Oline that couldn't protect my water cup.. Yea GB is going to be awsome.. Hope the GB Defense is very very good..

So why not go back to week 1 last year when the season was starting and everyone was 0-0 and going for the ring.. what happened there big fella??? 26-0 ass stomping is that what happened???? who also went 13-3??? who went to the Super Bowl? despite losing atleast we went.. i wonder what Favre was thinking watching the Playoff from his couch.. like he will this year
