The Ravens are no longer the 2nd tier AFC teams that we were last year. The "dynamic offense" that we were supposed to see must have been scrapped when the season started. Indeed, Brian Billick seems too confident that his job is safe because he got an extension. The offense looked horrible on Monday with McNair under center. Iwould like to reiterate that BOLLER SHOULD BE THE STARTER!!! He actually has the strength to throw the ball downfield and I believehe has thrown moredeep passes this season than McNair has. He is only good for short dump passesto Mason, Heap, or McGahee. Speaking of McGahee, he seemed to look likethe sameplayer in Buffalo. Now I can understand because the O-line is inexperienced and young. I would say that the defense sucks but they are still good at stopping the run. We were down to our #3 and #4 corners with Rolle and McAlister sidelined with injuries. I would like to say that it was their fault but Ed Reed has let some plays get past him. Not only that, but more players are beginning to show some age and seemed slow actually.

    START BOLLER, BENCH MCNAIR!!!

I still can't believe the Browns are actually a good team and the Steelers look better than the Super Bowl winning team a few years ago. I still believe we can make the playoffs with the 6th seed but alot of things have to go in our favor but the only thing we can do to reach it is to make every game a must win and one or two losses are okay just as long as we don't lose to division rivals since we are already 0-3 in the division.

    START BOLLER, BENCH MCNAIR!!!

I'd also like to congratulate J-Lew for being happy at where he is and running 4 TD's last week in the game against the Seahawks. Thus again, we are only an average team. I'm not saying we suck but we aren't meeting expectations we brought onto ourselves last year but not to a huge extent like the Chargers where they are a disappointment.

If we end up around 4-7, I'll start looking at the offseason where Billick should besucceeded by either Rex Ryan or a new coach to be hired, say, Mike Martz (SHOCKING!!!) And we seriously need to give Boller another shot because he is the bestQB on the roster since the season started and during the draft, we shouldlook at a cornerback who can play nickelhis rookie season and whenready, they can assume the #2 role where Rolle used to be along side with McAlister who will be 33 (not sure). There, I'm done. And let it be said, "START BOLLER, BENCH MCNAIR!!!"

I totally agree with you on McNair now. He looks shot. Boller should start. But McGahee has NOT looked like the same player in Buffalo. He's top 5 in rushing with a 4.4 avg. That's good considering the youth on OL. He and Mason have been the only bright spots on offense. Willis also hasn't been given the ball enough in some games. The defense is still good. It's hard to stop teams when you're giving them short fields. This past week, it just looked tired because the offense can't do anything with it. It's hindered us for years, yet we still had top 5-10 defenses and you know this. Sure we're older in some areas, but we've got youth on defense as well. Ray can still play. Ed Reed has always been that way. He free lances.

I'm already thinking about the offseason. As I've said we probably have 1-3 wins max left. And I'd rather get a high pick than be middle of the pack or just barely making the playoffs. Butfrom what I have heard, Billick not making the playoffs and the team continuing to look like the way it is, he will get fired. IPRAY this is true. We need change in Baltimore, desperately. I've thought about new coaches, but Martz, I'm not sure about him. He'll try to turn us into Rams 2.0, and we don't have the personnel offensively to do it.He also won't run the ball when he should. This team would be an attractive job though.

About the draft, Rolle is more than likely gone after this season (along with other dead weight). So, depending on how high we pick, Malcolm Jenkins is someone I'd want - if we go that route. He's another big CB who we could put opposite of Chris and who could be our future #1. Chris will be 31 btw. If Bolleris given a chance, we'll probably still look at another QB in the draft or in FA. Again, depending on where we pick, I mentioned Jenkins, but DE Chris Long out UVA is atop my list, that kid would be beast on the defense and we need more depth and youth on the DL. He'd be perfect. And I'm notexcited about these QBs coming out. Brohm, Woodson and Ryan and the 2nd tier. I might rather give Boller a yr and wait til '09's QBs.

Yeah, about the Martz comment, that was supposed to be a joke. I wouldn't be surprised if we see Jim Fassel back on the coaching staff IMO. I may have been a bit too hard on McGahee since he does seem to be having a pretty good season compared to what J-Lew had last season. But it's frustrating because I know he could be better but with the fact that the Ravens playcalling and the inability to throw the ball is probably why he isn't used as much as I thought he would be. Musa Smith and Mike Anderson I haven't seen much of either. I agree that Demetrius Williams hasn't been utilized enough but that's probably because Clayton is somewhere and Todd Heap has been injured.

Our defense is pretty okay but we need to get better as pass defense because we have let alot of TD passes to the Steelers which is scary to look at. Terrell Suggs only has one sack (I think) and we should be more disruptive throughout the game and harassing QB's like we have been doing last year and not only during the first half.

With the QB situation, Boller should get the nod until his contract expires next year and I don't like any of the QB's in this year's draft, Brohm included. I don't know about the '09 draft but we should start rebuilding with some younger players which means that players like Samari Rolle, Trevor Pryce, Ray Lewis, and even McNair have to think about changing their thoughts about having a playoff team to a team that's rebuilding. There are also some other spots we can look at during the draft like DE because I'm uncertain that Terrell Suggs can agree to a contract, Trevor Pryce is getting older and depth obviously. Linebacker is always something nice with Ray getting a year older and depth also. Mainly the defense for the draft because I believe the offense is just underachieving because of the lack of a passing game and the absense of Ogden for those few games.

I thought I'd never see people calling for Boller, but McNair just looks old and crappy. I thought they'd have a better offense with Willis carrying the rock but I guess not. Billick sucks as well.

yesterday was more proof he should be fired. The thing that I'd be worried about is a Ravens fan is they aren't doing well and the team is aging. The defense is good but not great anymore due to age, their QB is older than dirt and is always banged up, and their best o-lineman for years, ogden is probably gone soon. That loss yesterday to Cincy was bad

He abandons the run too early. And he panics and tries to rely on McNair's short passes.

Everything is going wrong for the Ravens this year. Too much players are getting injured. The whole team is getting older except the offensive line, and they are TOO inexperienced. The Ravens should try to get a WR in the draft like DeSean Jackson or Mario Manningham.
