Minnessota - Well if the Bucks, Nets (Back from injury VC) and Jazz (without Boozer and Okur) beat us... i dont see why the Wolves cant
Denver - We blew them out, now its their turn to return the favor (plus its the 1nd of a back to back and y'all know how bad we do in these situations)
Warriors - well their clearly better than us... they'll win by 40
Spurs - With or without Duncan, they will simply outclass us... Kobe will lose his matchup with Manu coz he just doesnt have it in him anymore
Warriors - same as the other warriors game + its the 2nd of a back - to - back
Clippers - Well Kaman's a beast and Kobe will be too scared to drive against him just like against Dwight LOL
Bulls - The main highlight of this game would be Kobe vs. Gordon... well kobe will lose this one just like when the game was relying on his matchup against Redd.
Cavs - Well, seems to me that after (just) 2 years, Kobe is ready to hand the throne of the best player in the NBA to LBJ
Sorry... but i just had to let it out

You say your a Kobe fan, but you are hating on the man. This is an issue w/ management. We cannot rely on what we have now to advance. We need to find a way to get rid of Kwame Brown and trade LO to a team that has an upset superstar in need for a change of scenery.

Wrong.
We don't need an upset superstar. We need an impact player. Laker fans think that a superstar is going to change everything, but you fail to realize that we have to give up a lot for a superstar. Trade Odom and a filler for a consistent impact player.

Maybe I overstated when I said superstar. We need a mentally tough player with good fundamentals (IMO, Mo Evans was mentally tough but had terrible fundamental skills). The player that I see as the best fit is Ron Artest, but will SacTown pull the trigger on that trade? Who else is going to be involved in the trade as Lamar costs more, and Artest is worth more?

the worst part is the Lakers will probably go 4-4, and that's all they are a .500 team, 6-8 seed, out in the first round. Odom and Kwame have no market value and so far Bynum and Farmar are turning into Waltons, good players that will never be stars. You don't win championships with that kind of team. I just hope management was watching Min. last night, because that's what the Lakers will look like if they trade Kobe. Look how quickly Boston turned around their team. Fire Mitch and get a GM that can get another star or two into LA while Philand Kobe arestill here or take a good look at Minn. and Phil because that's what's ahead.

Bynum is easily a star in the making. This is a complete flip flop from comments I made about him over the offseason. He's a fucking beast, we need to feed him the ball more often. Once he has the ball with some time to work, it's almost a guaranteed dunk. As for Farmar, I think we should trade him while his value his high. We've got Crittenton on the bench, who I believe is a much better passer, scorer, and defender.
As for Odom, he doesn't have value in a system like the Lakers. His value lies in a run and gun style and in the east. Washington would be a nice fit for him, Phoenix would be a nice fit, as well.

QUOTE (KobeTheLegend)

Lol Shape.
Anyone else think Kobe "doesn't have it in him" anymore?

No he still has it but he was playing with the Flu and I admire that he will play wether he's feeling good or bad.

QUOTE (Mamba)

Eat crow.
2-0.

LOL! Dont jinx it!!! this was a close close game! LOL

Yeah it was a gutty win last night and the Lakers survived Allen Iverson's onslaught of 51 points. Andrew Bynum with some monster defensive plays at the end of the game and Jesus hit two big buckets to seal this game for us!
I'm nervous after these victories though. The Lakers play inspired basketball and then get big headed and flop in their next game. They need to keep focused and bring this type of no-quit attitude to every game the rest of the season.
