What do you guys think about this trade to get rid of Lamar Odom. Since I do want to see him go sadly yes.</p> http://games.espn.go.com/nba/features/trad...mp;te=&cash=</p>
I would love to get Salmons but I don't think the Kings would do that. Artest has been going good latley.</p>
That trade has zero chance of happening. We aren't trading our trash for another team's treasure. Especially when you're talking about a division rival in Sacremento.</p>
<h3 class="outlook">Change in Team Outlook: <font color="#ff0000">-1.7</font> ppg, +3.0 rpg, and +2.6 apg.</h3> <table width="100%" class="breakdowntable"> <tbody> <tr> <th scope="col" colspan="2">Incoming Players</th> </tr> <tr> <td class="photo"></td> <td><span class="playername">Reggie Evans</span> 6-8 PF from Iowa 5.2 ppg, 8.5 rpg, 1.0 apg in 26.9 minutes</td> </tr> <tr> <td class="photo"></td> <td class="even"><span class="playername">Andre Miller</span> 6-2 PG from Utah 15.6 ppg, 4.4 rpg, 5.2 apg in 36.0 minutes</td> </tr> </tbody> </table> <table width="100%" class="breakdowntable"> <tbody> <tr> <th scope="col" colspan="2">Outgoing Players</th> </tr> <tr> <td class="photo"></td> <td><span class="playername">Javaris Crittenton</span> 6-5 PG from Georgia Tech 2.7 ppg, 1.0 rpg, 0.7 apg in 6.1 minutes</td> </tr> <tr> <td class="photo"></td> <td class="even"><span class="playername">Sasha Vujacic</span> 6-7 PG from Slovenia (Foreign) 6.7 ppg, 1.2 rpg, 0.9 apg in 12.4 minutes</td> </tr> <tr> <td class="photo"></td> <td><span class="playername">Lamar Odom</span> 6-10 SF from Rhode Island 13.1 ppg, 7.7 rpg, 2.0 apg in 35.4 minutes</td> </tr> </tbody> </table> </p> </p> This gives Kobe a pretty darn good pg and a Solid defensive rebounder....</p>
You guys traded an All-Star Caron Butler for Kwame Brown and you expect some other team to just give up there stars? Lamars trade value keeps getting lower everytime it's made more visable that Odom is garbage.</p>
Hell no, I wouldn't even do Lamar for Andre straight up, which is hard for me to swallow. Why the hell would we have to throw Crittenton in?</p>
why not this one instead </p> LAL - NJ</p> Odom + Kwame for Kidd</p> http://games.espn.go.com/nba/features/trad...p;te=&cash=</p> LAL - IND</p> Odom + Kwame for JO + Dunleavy (coz theres no way in hell that they trade Granger)</p> http://games.espn.go.com/nba/features/trad...p;te=&cash=</p> LAL - MEM</p> Odom + Kwame for Gasol + Swift (We shave of 3M in salary cap space since Kwame is worth 8 and Swift is 5M)</p> http://games.espn.go.com/nba/features/trad...p;te=&cash=</p> Odom + Kwame for Gasol + Swift + Warrick (Warrick has lost his time in memphis due to the emergence of Gay and miller)</p> http://games.espn.go.com/nba/features/trad...p;te=&cash=</p> I only traded with teams that seem 'willing' to listen to offers'... like JO and Kidd who are unhappy and Memphis who is displeased with Gasol's performance</p>
The Grizz would NEVER accept those trades. Rather get Kidd, Artest, or trade him to the Knicks for a first round draft pick.</p>
I would do that deal if Farmar was not included because he is pretty good this year and should keep it up.</p>
So you want garbage+garbage for Kidd? You couldn't even add in a player, who most likely, wouldn't ever make an allstar game.</p>
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (mynetsforlife)</div><div class='quotemain'></p> So you want garbage+garbage for Kidd? You couldn't even add in a player, who most likely, wouldn't ever make an allstar game.</p> </div></p> Odom won't ever make an all-star game? The reason he is struggling in LA right now is because he's in the wrong offense, its too complicated for him. Kwame sucks on offense but he's far from garbage. He is acually pretty decent on the defensive end.</p> And I would include Farmar if it gets us Jason Kidd.</p> </p>
<div><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (mynetsforlife)</div><div class='quotemain'></div> <div>So you want garbage+garbage for Kidd? You couldn't even add in a player, who most likely, wouldn't ever make an allstar game.</div> <div></div></div> <div>Well, I'm sure if Kidd was younger and had a 10 million dollar contract it would be different, but he is turning 35 in a few months and makes 20 mill. So it takes 2-3 players just to match his contract.</div> <div>Odom was the #1 scoring option in Miami playing PF, with Vince and RJ he could play PF again in the east. Farmar and Marcus Williams would be able to share PG duties, and Carter is one of the best passing SGs. The Nets are tired of trouble with rebounding so Kwame will help with that.</div> <div></div> <div>PG: Farmar/Marcus</div> <div>SG: Vince Carter//Antoine Wright</div> <div>SF: Richard Jefferson//Boki</div> <div>PF: Lamar Odom//Boone or Krstic</div> <div>C: Kwame Brown//Sean Williams</div>
We are having trouble with rebounding but trading Kidd and putting in Kwame actually goes negitive on boards collected.</p>
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Universe)</div><div class='quotemain'></p> We are having trouble with rebounding but trading Kidd and putting in Kwame actually goes negitive on boards collected.</p> </div></p> lol, kind of funny point. At first glance it might look that way.</p> but, Kidd is playing 36 mpg getting 8.7 rpg and playing with centers who can't seem to rebound, while Kwame plays 21 mpg and gets 5 mpg. Kidd also can't box out centers the way that Kwame can. As well Odom has been averaging 7.7 rpg in 36 mpg.</p>

Including Odom's salary it would be a net savings of around $7M.</p> What exactly do expect the Nets to receive in return for Kidd? You're not going to get the other team's best player, you're not going to get equal value, and you're going to have to take back two big contracts because of the money Kidd makes.</p> </p> </p>

The sixers got Andre Miller and Joe Smith in a 2 for 2 or 2 for 3 deal i f i could remember for AI!</p> LO + Kwame is way better than that for Kidd! </p> </p>
