I don't think so. He handled the situation with class and he's a good guy who is hard to make into a villain.
He'll get booed for sure, but it won't be really intense (like VC). Its the ACC, they boo everything.
I hope they don't but if they do boo he shouldn't take it personally, fans get passionate and will react.
if i were there id boo not him but his actions on that night, i know he didn't mean to do it, but he still did it
Will a Toronto crowd boo? That's like asking if there will be any tickets available to the next Nets home game. Of course they will boo and I can't blame them. TJ is TJ but he's still not in the lineup. My boss is a huge Gators fan and is going to the game so I know one person will be cheering loudly for him. All I can say is that if he does the same thing to Jose, he won't make it out of the city.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Al Horford is ready for the storm that's sure to come from screaming fans Friday night when the Hawks face the Toronto Raptors at Air Canada Centre. The Hawks' rookie center spent three years touring some of the most venomous environments in basketball during his All-American career at Florida. So he's been in an uncomfortable place or two and handled himself pretty well. "I've heard some pretty nasty things over the years, about myself and my family and just about anything else you can think of," Horford said. "I've never been one to play to the crowd or let them get to me, and I won't start now, no matter what's being said or done." The ill-feelings toward Horford stem from his foul on Raptors point guard T.J. Ford late in the Hawks' Dec. 11 loss that resulted in Ford spending the night in an Atlanta hospital and Horford being suspended for a game for a flagrant foul. It shouldn't bother him that much. He played college ball, where there wasn't a sushi-eating buffer zone between you and the hecklers.

If the same thing happens to Jose, the Raps season is over. There starting pointguard would be Derrick Martin.

If a big uncoordinated oaf is at school and they break someone else's laptop by being butter-fingered and knock over a coffee over onto it. Even if they didn't intend to break it, the person who's laptop is broken (or head) might be annoyed if they had important stuff in it, and would fail an assigment or retire from the nba because of it.
Okay, seriously here, I hate to be vindictive, but if Horford ends up injuring another player, I say the Raptors take him out and a riot starts, why? Because everybody on the Raptor forum feels that the foul wasn't intentional. Big freakin deal. If that stuff started in Detroit, all the fans would have already been on the court, chairs would've been thrown along with your favourite pop. I can't understand why a career-threatening injury would not go noticed among Raptor fans. Doesn't it annoy any of you, the way TJ went down (all head, not even some ball). He gets a one-game suspension and the Toronto fans complain that it was a mistake and the NBA shouldn't have done that. I'm sorry, but that is the kind of mentality that Toronto fans have and it really makes me wonder. We take that same approach in the olympics without pride. I know I'm ranting, but this is really a sore topic with me. Just because Horford goes to the hospital to visit TJ after the incident doesn't make him a great guy. It's TJ who accepts his apology a great person. I guess we're going to have to see another key injury for the Toronto fans to say: "it's okay, it's part of the game." I'm sorry, if I'm at the game, I'm booing the hell out of Horford. Who the hell does he think he is.. DEXTER?
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Just because Horford goes to the hospital to visit TJ after the incident doesn't make him a great guy. It's TJ who accepts his apology a great person.</div> Yikes. Be more biased. Hey at least I get to apply something I learned last term
I watched a Death Wish marathon on AMC a couple days ago, so Horford really wouldn't be able to leave this city if he injured Jose. I'd make sure of that.
