wish Jose would have made it, but the coaches did a good job picking the team big up to Bosh, though he was probably the most obvious reserve

It's awesome and I think the coaches did a decent job. I love Roy being named to the team.
hoping Jose can go to the skills challenge but maybe this is good and he drops 20 10 5 with 3 3's tomorrow vs the lake-show
Bosh started the season way slow but he has gone and completely redeemed himself in the last five or six weeks. Sad to see Jose snubbed but not at all a surprise.
Jose was a long shot to make it, and I'm not that surprised he didn't. I'm disappointed that he didn't make it, but knowing him, he'll just keep playing better and better. Bosh making it was obvious, there was no way he wouldn't. Starting last year, and putting up great numbers as of late, he was a lock. He never is that explosive in All-Star games anyway, but maybe this year he'll bring it from behind the arc 6-6! Jose in the skills competition would be awesome. He could definitely win it since his passing is so on target and he can run the floor very well.
Yah, I'm glad Bosh got the nod to the all-star game. Well deserved. You know what though, I really thought Calderon would get some mention on the Kenny, Charles and ummm.. white guy show for the all-star selection, but nothing. In fact to add insult to injury, they asked Bosh on the show about Ford's condition and nothing about Calderon. That's just a really bad snob. I'm surprised Bosh didn't say anything when they asked him about players that were left out. Calderon is quickly becoming the Jan to Ford's Marsha. Ford, Ford, Ford (Marsha, Marsha, Marsha)..
Congrats to Bosh. He's a legitimate candidate for Player of the Month as well, IMO. Still kinda disappointed Jose didn't make it.
Wow, it's like Jose got nothing out of this. Jamario to the slam dunk competition. Kapono to the 3-point shootout. Bosh to the all-star game. The most deserving of being an all-star was Jose Calderon and nothing. Heck not even a mention of Calderon's name. Even Kenny Smith asked Bosh about the condition of TJ Ford. Poor Calderon, that's the ultimate snub, I'm just a little ticked.
Jose has really came out of nowhere, this is his first season with big minutes, and probably isn't seen as an allstar because he is usually a bench warmer for a non-allstar (TJ), statistically he is impressive for assists and TOs. Similar to Hedo not being close to an allstar for many years, and has a decent season, it is kind of expected he wouldn't make it. The bigger surprizes is no Baron Davis, and no Marcus Camby. Actually looking at stats, Calderon is pretty impressive, especially his efficiency. I guess he just isn't well known enough and most fans would rather see more well known players like Steve Nash, or Chris Paul, than an efficient not well known Spanish pg.
Bosh, no surprise. Jose? Next year. Definitely. If he doesn't, I'll be disappointed (this coming from a Nets fan). I mean, Fans can't continue this trend of voting in overrated players with subpar teams, can they?
Jose to the skills competition! Eh, maybe not, but who knows? It'd be nice to represent in every competition.
Definitely well deserved! CB4 has had a great year so far coming back from some injuries to run full strength mid season. I look forward to seeing our All-Star dominate down the stretch!
