I pretty much agree with Chutney but I don't hold any bad feelings or anything. Peace man.

u hush your mouth chutney, lol...............Brett was always a risk taker, but at the end of the day he'll always be a top 5 QB in most people's books.................

Next to Hakeem, Brett Favre is my most favorite athlete growing up and of all time.........

lol, somebody had to say it. No disrespect to Brett, because at the end of the day he's one of the greatest passers in the history of the NFL, but 2000's Brett Favre was a shadow of the '90's Favre. More often than not, those risks did not turn out well for him later on in his career.

Good riddance! Glad to see him go and it isnt soon enough. He should have been banned for life for the strahan stunt. I am sure there were plenty of other arrangements and deals he made tainting his records. He deserves nothing but jeers. They should just go ahead and waive the 5 year wait and ban him from HOF now.

Now we can hear about the rest of the team during Packers games. How exciting.

In all seriousness though, the guy was a good QB and deserves the HOF, I just got sick of hearing about him during every single MNF game so I'm slightly bitter.

PA I think a little of every Packer fan died. [IMG]

Hasn't hit Green Bay yet. All the news channels talked about it all day long but it was more so a celebration of his career. I think as the week goes on things are going to start to set in and we'll realize we're going to have no more new Brett Favre memories.

I don't doubt Favre's decision though. If he thought it was time then it was time. hate how some talk show radio hosts are actually doubting whether or not he should of retired because of Randy Moss. It was his decision to make, nobody else's.

    Favre > The Bears Franchise

Yeah it won't really hit me until I watch the Pack next season........it will be weird cheering for the Pack with no Favre in the pocket.....I hope Aaaron Rodgers can at least be decent, because although Brett is now gone, the Packers still have a lot of talent on both sides of the ball..........

Favre is greater than the bears franchise? How do you figure? Is it cuz he has less wins and titles than the bears franchise? Is it because he wasnt as good as some of the players the bears have had? Is it because he is a cheater, and you mean he has cheated more than the entire bears franchise? Well, i can see that last one being true.

Just like you said when i said there was more to the spygate scandal, and looks like it goes back many many years and included much more. Where there is smoke there is fire, and when a kid steals a cookie and gets away with it, he steals some more.

Its not his fault, the Bears finished DEAD LAST in the North. The Lions beat them twice. We really shuld cut the kid a break.

The NFC North, aside from Minnesota, should be pretty terrible this upcoming season.
