    Charges need to be added.

    As well as forced/unforced turnovers.

Fast break points is something I've wanted to see for a few years now.

Points in the paint are needed as well.

And lastly, types of fouls - as in, shooting foul, blocking foul, reaching, And-1 etc.

That's all I could think of right now...

Even better, how about blocks that result in possessions vs. blocks that don't?

How about shots against and shots made against a player?

How many times a player flops?
    Shots taken that were contested?

I've always felt that the +/- stat is awful. If Rajon Rondo is playing the best defense of his life with Eddie House on the floor with him, and Eddie gives up 12 points in a quarter, Rondo's +/- is negatively affected. That's putrid.

I agree that +/- is useless. To be honest I'd like a completed passes stat, so that PGs on bad teams at least get credit for making good passes.

What do you mean by completed pass? Almost any pass is completed... You need to clarify. I'll assume you mean finding an "open man", and then not getting credit for the assist when the dork misses.

These stats aren't new but they're underrated: Usage rate, and percentage of field goals that came off assists. Bigs are always getting credit for high percentage shots that they're other teammates set up for them, so there PER should be lower.

Yeah. It's not really fair when you're doing your job but your teammates just suck at shooting.
