What do you think the Jags will do next year? We finally have a decent WR, and despite losing Stroud (who never stayed healthy anyway) our defense is very strong still. Add into the mix a few strong draft picks, and this may be our best chance at challenging the Colts.

The Jags look solid this upcoming season, mostly because of Garrard though. What a nice quarterback, I expect him to develop a bit next year as well (don't know how consistent Porter will be, that's somewhat of a tossup but he should help at least).

The thing about the Colts though, is that they are the youngest team in the league (including last year), so the Jags-Colts matchups should still be exciting to watch.

Regardless of Porter's consistency, he's still significantly better than anyone we've had since Jimmy Smith.

We'll it depends on his production doesn't it? Reggie Williams came on last year too, we'll see how quickly Porter develops a rapport with Garrard.

Just because a team in your division is better than you doesn't mean you shouldn't be a fan any more.

With that logic, the Texans would have no fans.

But, I'll bet you did when they played the evil empire in the playoffs? [IMG]

With McCariens returning & Crumpler signing, they appear to be getting some weapons for VY. So, the battle for 2nd in the AFCS could be real interesting.

Don't write off the Texans, either. They were 8 - 8 this past season and could have easily been 10 - 6. They've made a few decent off season moves this year as well to shore up their woeful offensive line. If they have a good draft, it could easily get them over the hump and into contention in what will be the toughest division in football next year.

I don't think the Colts locked up the AFC South Championship just yet. The team is only getting older and Marvin Harrison won't be as explosive as last year and he was also hurt. MDJ should do good and Fred Taylor has gotten better with age. Our defense looks good and is getting younger actually with Rashaen Mathis and S Reggie Nelson having a productive season. Look for Jacksonville to possibly with the AFC South or at least come within a game.
