alrighty then. Such a good night for fights, even if Karo's was stopped early Congrats to Trench who had the best record on the night (8-4) and could have had the most points but he didn't predict the round and method of victory for 4 of his fights. Top point earner was Speeds with 21, followed closely by Knicksfan3 with 20. Tough first time around for Zae but don't worry, there's loads of UFC's coming up to make up some W's and points Here's the full results for last nights fight predictions I'll update the league totals later 1. Trench 8-4 18 points 2. Speeds 7-5 21 points 3. Knicksfan3 6-6 20 points 4. CelticFan 6-6 19 points 5. Big Frame 5-7 15 points 6. Flush 5-7 12 points 7. Zae 4-8 6 points Double check your scores if you want to, I'm not perfect you know Thanks to everyone for participating, just over 3 weeks to go for UFC 83 and George St.Pierre getting the WelterWeight title back!!
Well, that sucks. Great fights though, my ass was glued to the couch for whole Fight Night, Ultimate Fighter and that new show DUI, I can't complain.

Maynard really surprised me tonight. He is a lot better than I thought. Next we need to see him against Guida/Griffin/Huerta.
Zae, you'll do better time, glad you took a shot at it. Was a great night IMO and all the fights on TUF was kool too. sucked not seeing Clay's fight, he usually puts on a great show. Fight of the night.. gotta be Nick Diaz's or Kenny's fight. I say Karo's fight was stopped too soon, Houston was out with his arms to the side, it wasn't stopped early. hopefully Marcus Aurelio is back on track, he could be a contender at 155. Anthony Johnson impressed me. Frankie looked like he should be fighting at 145 next to Gray. Matt Hamill looked much, much better on his feet. the only bad fight was Maynard vs Edgar as Gray just kinda lay and mini-punched his way to the win. He looked better with the stand up but not great.

I was really impressed by Anthony Johnson and thought Tommy Spears would have a pretty good showing. Thats two big losses in a row for Houston Alexander, loosing that fight the way he was knocking people out before UFC 78 when he lost to Thiago Silva.
Houston Alexander may have been an flash in the pan. Losing on the ground when you're a bull rusher is one thing, getting clocked at your own game is another... lol I didn't even watch the fights last night I taped them. I did get up at 4:40 this morning to watch'em though
I think it was Rampage who said that James Irvin punches harder than anyone else. That's why I picked him against Houston Alexander. Definitely a justified stoppage in that one, Alexander was out cold and not defending himself. Sometimes you get punched and knocked out, and punched again and knocked back into consciousness. I think that's what happened in the second Rampage/Liddell fight and that is probably what happened with Alexander. As for the Parisyan stoppage, I thought it was a good one. Karo crumpled up and took a couple of shots. It didn't look like he was intelligently defending himself (re: Kenny Florian mounted against Joe Lauzon for a couple minutes). Karo will bitch about this stoppage but he has an excuse for all of his losses.
