I just wanted to share my admiration and appreciation of DA. I see him on the bench still into games and talking and supporting the team through tough times. Solid professional.

here, here. Darrel's never been anything but a true professional and supporter of this ball club. He always played with intensity and was a breath of fresh air this season.

I'd love to have him come back as a player-coach or assistant coach for the Nets.

I've always loved Darrell and hope the Nets offer him an assistant position or player/coach opportunity next year. Great guy to have on the bench.

    Always liked DA.

This whole season, I've been hoping he would've been traded to another team, such as Dallas, LA, NO...some team like that. The Nets don't deserve DA, he deserves to be on a contender.

I also wish he went to a contender and I'm sure they asked but he seems to like it here.

My dream is for Kittles and him to be assistants to our team. That is what we need.

My favorite memory from this season is probably the game when he beat Orlando by himself.

Can we somehow retain Darrel in some coaching position if he decides to retire? He seems to be so passionate about the game of basketball, so that one day he may make fine coach for us? thoughts.

Three of the six Nets assistants have contracts that run out this summer. I dont know which ones. They have six: Brian Hill, Tom Barrise, Bill Cartwright, Pat Sullivan, Rich Daltri and Bob Thate. Thate may already be gone. He isn't listed on the Nets roster any more. He was a Kidd hire.

I believe it is Hill, Cartwright and Thate. Tom Barrise and Pat Sullivan just got rehired last summer and Cartwright was looking into other jobs while you can only assume that Brian Hill thought he may get another coaching job and took the one year swing.
