    I read it a long time ago. It might be a little dated because the book alternates long chapters about brand name commercialism (from the 80s) with chapters depicting the sickest kind of violence imaginable (muuuuuch worse than the movie).

    I remember there was a whole chapter about the band Genesis. Lots of real restaurants, cars, stereo equipment, etc.

    Ellis sort of beats you over the head with his message, but I thought it was a fun read, anyway.
