I love how Garnett and Amare always make the same pushoff when dunking...yet, when Odom does it at the end of the game, he gets an offensive foul called.

Jack is awesome. He's the definition of a true Laker fan, unlike those celebrity bandwagoners like David Beckham (although I don't mind him jumping on the wagon)

Wasn't Boston doing that before though? Kobe found Sasha for a wide open three that pretty much sealed this game for us. It's a lose-lose situation. Kobe'll find the open person if you double him, and he's too good to be single-covered.

Seriously, that has to be one of the stupidest things I've ever seen Odom do.

Gasol needs to ****ing man up one day too.

There's three other guys on the floor you can double off of. I wouldn't leave anyone open around the basket, but I'd freely run a guy off Odom. If you're going to go one on one with Kobe, Pierce is the only guy I'd consider it with. Even then, I wouldn't leave him in single coverage in the final moments.

Huge win tonight, Lakers are DEFINITELY back in this, and I think we've got control now, despite still being down 2-1. Kobe was absolutely huge tonight. Got to the line (though we sucked there, mostly) and Kobe shot a damn good percentage too.

Gotta give my props to Vujacic. He came up beyond huge. Got 20 points off the bench for us and I don't know if we win without him coming up huge.

Also, Lakers defense was terrific tonight. Held Garnett and Pierce to a combined 8/35, and the only person that could really do anything against us was Allen, and he cooled off in the 4th when it mattere most. Most of all though, we kept Garnett out of the paint. We made him a jump shooter, and if we can do that, we'll win this series.

Overall, good performance from what I saw (which was the entire 2nd half). I loved what I saw from our bench, especially Vujacic. Farmar looked to have a decent game as well, and also drew a huge charge near the beginning of the fourth. It'd be nice to have Odom and Gasol give us something, though at least Odom was aggressive tonight, even though he wasn't making anything. The defense, as noted, was great as well, and Kobe was huge down the stretch. He came up with two clutch shots and got the biggest assist of the night on the Vujacic trey that basically sealed the deal.

I pointed out to a friend who was over for game 2 how Garnett was setting screens like a pulling lineman in football. Run up to the defender and throw a block at him, vs. standing still and letting your teammate rub his man off you.

Garnett got nailed for doing it tonight at the critical moment.

Kobe came up big in Q4, though it's amazing that he was effectively taken out of the game by a simple double team.

    Kobe, Sasha, Turiaf = POTG

They were so good on both sides of the floor, they basically carried the team. Turiaf did such a great job on Garnett when he was in...he contested every shot, got right up into Garnett, and got him out of his comfort zone.

Garnett is notorious for setting illegal screens, he just doesn't get called for them as often as he should.

nMg, pay Sasha the full MLE : ]

Why can't black people say Vujacic name?

I'm wearing the same outfit I wore today...on Thursday.

I never thought KG could get that rattled. Oh well, whatever.

I saw some nice sparks out of Gasol at the end of the game, so that is nice to know.

Oh man, what player doesn't set illegal screens these days. The refs just randomly call them.

None of them are as noticeable as Garnett though.

Tonight showed what i've been saying all year .. Sasha isn't the most multi-dimensional player on the team, and maybe Odom IS the most multi-dimensional player on our team, but Sasha has that IT attitude .. one that Lamar lacks ..

Pau got 12 boards, that came out of nowhere the way he was out there.

Odom got pic-pocketed when he penetrated, he needs to watch out for that.

**** him. Doc isn't worthy enough to pick up Phil's shit. If Doc can't admit game 2 was rigged, then he's a fuckin' moron.
