How is Pierce better than Larry, at anything over the course of his career?

Their words, not mine. These are guys who would take Bird over everyone ever (past, present, probably future), but Jordan. Offensively, there's nothing Pierce can't do. Bird can't run, other than knowing that, I never saw enough of him to explain it.

Mark Jackson is right, Farmar is a starting PG in this league...just not in the triangle.

Pau has disappeared on defense, tonight.

This team has players with no heart. Where is our Posey? Where is our Rondo? Our Powe? Our Perkins?

The only players who have heart on this team: Kobe, Bynum, Fisher.

He's a better pure scorer, even Larry never had 38 points in the finals. Larry was an all-time great though and made the players around him better when he came to he league immediately.

Add Bird to the Celtics and they had the biggest turnaround in NBA history (worst to first). Add Pierce to the Celtics, and...

    Celtics win 19 games.

Fourth time in his career the Celtics won 40+.

Usually I don't concede, but nobody on our team is hungry. Absolutely nobody. Phil...how the **** do you let it get this out of hand, this quickly?

First as I said, that's what I have read from Bob Ryan and Dan Shaunnesy. You can say what you will about their views on national sports, but these guys have been writing about Boston sprots since before most of us were thought of. Secondly, they're talking about pure offensive abilities.

So...at the beginning of the year, only the die hard Laker fans even thought of being in the FINALS, so this season isn't a failure. It hurts, yeah, but we'll be back here next year. The west can't hang with us, if we're healthy.

Call me crazy, but I do expect some changes this off-season. I think Mitch goes out and tries to acquire some players with heart, good role players.

I don't know what Phil can do. He's played his best players as many minutes as he could. He's called timeouts to try and stop the Boston runs.

Kobe started out hot with 11 points, just 3 points since. It wouldn't be that bad if the rest of the guys came to play.

Get the machine involved, he can make baskets.

Fisher can knock down open shots, and they're triple teaming Kobe much of the time - someone's got to be open.

Denny, Machine is worthless on the road. It's because he's a young player.

This really, really hurts. We should be going to a game 7 with this blow out, how the **** did we blow game 4?

    This really fuckin' stings.

I'm glad Lamar played hard in his last game in the purple and gold.
