There's nothing Phil can do but to hope for a Celtic choke. Chances of that happening are slim to none. The only we can reasonably hope for is for Kobe to get hot and shoot us back into the game, but I don't see that happening. Personally, I think we're done. But whatever, it's not over until it's over I guess. We need to play a flawless two quarters to even think about winning this thing

Here's the formula for the Lakers to come back:

    1) Defense
    2) Defense
    3) Defense

    Get stops

Score half the time we have the ball.

Michael Wilbon has lost his mind with that hypothetical line up.

Did he just say the Machine at PF? WOW...

God I hope Kobe doesn't go off for like 40 in the 2nd half.

Another way to look at this is the Lakers need to win the next two quarters by at least 30-20 points.

It's not out of the question, but the Lakers of the first half won't do it.

I doubt we trade Odom, but 14 million expiring contract looks very tasty for other teams.

IMO Say Adios to either Radman or Luke.

Does anyone want Radman or Luke? I figure we'd have to package one of them with Odom.

    They're raving about Pierce's great 1st half. He shot 2-9, or .222 :-)

The bricks wouldn't be so bad if the Lakers were getting stops.

Radmanovic has some value. Some team will value a big with the ability to hit threes, just take Brian Cook for example. I think Radman is movable, but we won't be getting much in return for him at all.

As for Luke, he has ZERO value. The only way we get rid of him is to package him with Kobe or Bynum in a trade

    Gasol sighting...

    Fatty with the layup.

Space cadet for three? I'm shocked at this point. But Rondo answers with the And 1.

Yeah you're right about that, on both points.

It just doesn't seem like we've got it tonight. Ray with the three, 27 point lead again.

I wasn't sure if we would win tonight...

But I never expected us to get blown out. Give credit to the Celtics. They're obviously the better team, and they obviously want it more.
