    Suck it, Stern!</div>

lol I'm doing the same, but still not giving Kidd his ring.

as phil jackson would say, there should be an asterisk beside anything mentioning the lakers as the 2002 nba champions...

    Kings bite it.

Jason Kidd was a superhero in 2002. In the last minute of the game the Nets had Kidd and the Kings had Chris Webber.

The Nets lost for one reason. Shaq.

The Kings took that Lakers team to 7 games and needed a conspiracy to be eliminated. The Nets... were swept.

    The transitive property doesn't apply

The Kings wouldn't have stopped the Nets from getting transition baskets and KVH would have been a matchup problem for the Kings

That Kings team is probably the greatest never to win a championship.

And what's better logic? Assuming that the team that couldn't even steal a single game should be crowned the champs in hindsight?

There's no point anyways. That may be the single-greatest argument I have ever read.

You're a smart guy Chutney. You know match-ups play as big a role as any in a series. Or did you sleep through the Mavs-Warriors series last year?

Come on dude, I never said it was an inevitability. These are hypothetical situations, which I hate getting into. All I said was its stupid to summarily dismiss a team that would've/could've beat an opponent that yours couldn't even beat once.

Fair enough. Man that would have been an amazing series. Everybody who watched that game 6 knew that the league handed the Lakers a birth in the final. Pity.

Kings team had way more depth than that Blazers team. This Kings team 7 team averaging double figures, while Blazers had 5. this Kings team also had all their best players in the prime of there career, while this Portland team was relying on players like pippen(34), Sabonis(35) and Detlef Schrempf(37)

    Defensive rating- 100.8
