I doubted this team all season long and generally tried to focus on its flaws, but I'll gladly admit I was wrong. This was a great team and they deserve respect. Congrats.

I wish Red Auerbach was still alive to be a part of this too.

But like Stern said, he's around somewhere smoking a cigar. [IMG]

I am happy for you loyal Boston fans. It isn't your fault you like a team I don't, and you all deserve respect and seem generally intelligent.

As for the players themselves, I don't care about them. I don't even tangentially know them the way an online board can give one a gist for another person. I am not happy for Pierce, KG, or anyone on that roster, I still don't root for them or plan to. They mean nothing to me, and did not impress me on an individual basis (they were a team though, so props to that). I am moreso sad about my team, though I've had the fortune of being lucky in other sports...

If there weren't any Celtic fans here (improbable of course), I wouldn't have said anything. But I know some real cool Boston people so I don't want to be a hater. Enjoy this people, you were right. I'm just being real by the way.</div>

I understand, I've hated the Lakers for 20 some odd years now.. that will never change. Winning a title after 22 years is sooo sweet, beating the lakers makes is soooooooooooo much better.

But if by some chance you guys make it back to the finals to face the C's, I hope you don't mind 2nd place once again. (Laker hater 4 life [IMG])
If, by some miracle, you do win, it's good to know not all Lakers fans are grade A Jerks. Especially on this site.

I'm extremely optimistic about next season. We've been through it all now as a team. If we can keep this core together...

Pierce, Garnett, Allen, Posey, Rondo, Perkins, House and build around it we can make a run at repeating.

I can see Rondo taking the next step to become an elite point guard next season as well. We need him to continue to develop to match Bynum's development.

LMFAO. Did you just compare, in a way, Rondo to Bynum?

Sorry for using Rondo's name in the breath of Jesus Christ, the savior that is going to lead LA to 10 straight championships. Yes Black Mamba I compared Rondo and Bynum because Rondo is a 7-footer with sky high potential. What were you thinking with that idiotic question?
