    Podolski Could Leave Bayern

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>After helping Germany to a 3-2 win over Portugal in the quarter final of Euro 2008, Podolski hinted that he could well be on his way out of the Allianz Arena if he is not to feature regularly in Jürgen Klinsmann’s first-team plans.

The 23 year old has struggled to make an impact at Bayern since his move from Cologne after the 2006 World Cup. He was kept to a role as a substitute last season with Luca Toni and Miroslav Klose the first choice strikers.

Recent weeks have seen him linked with summer moves to Tottenham, Manchester City, Juventus and ex-club Cologne.

"For me what matters at the moment is the Euros. And afterwards I will think about everything else” Podolski told Bild.

"But if I can't see the possibility of playing under Jürgen Klinsmann, you have to ponder the future.

"I am not a footballer to sit on the bench."</div>

To be honest with you, I wouldn't be surprised if heads back to his old club, or Hanover 96. Hanover are starting to pick up steam and with some key signings and great youth they could compete with Podolski. He could likely be the missing link. lol

He was great last night for Germany.

He should move though, I mean at Bayern, he's on the bench as a reserve, and will not get any playing time. He's too good for that.

I agree that he's too good for that type of role. I really believe Hanover would be a great fit for him. Don't forget that Hanover also has great connections. They also are the first club in the World to have their 2008/09 kits designed by Under Armour!

    <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>[IMG]

Starting with the 2008/2009 season, US sports apparel manufacturer Under Armour will become the official kit supplier for the German football league club Hannover 96, Under Armour announced. The new partnership was brokered by Hannover's marketing partner SPORTFIVE.

Under Armour and Hannover 96 have signed a contract to cooperate through the 2010/11 season. This agreement includes all technical apparel and accessories for game day and training as well as numerous advertising assets inside Hannover's AWD Arena and promotional rights for Under Armour.</div>

I agree, Lukas is the best striker at the moment, but then he plays poor for Munich. I don't know whats wrong with him, maybe he needs to be a starter to be effective.

He is a great player, and will rise to a bigger team sooner or later, but if it takes going down to go up he should go for it.

yeah he always plays out of his kit for the national team. and he did so as well for Koln. Munich just isnt his niche. i think starting gives him confidence
