Argos Hurting without Bishop

After watching last nights game vs calgary the Toronto Argos need Micheal Bishop back asap. Mike McMahon looked awful and Damon Allen Didn't look any better. Hanging around in the pocket getting sacked seems to be his favorite move lately. His second possesion fumbles the ball on a pump fake. I don't know about you but if bishop is out as long as they say the argos just might find themselves in the bottom of the standings! Next week against montreal @ home will be the true tests for the backups, someone has got to step it up

Who would have figured a few weeks after having a controversy involving too many quarterbacks that the Argos would find themselves so short now?

I was at work but listened to most of the game on the radio. It sounded rough but I almost expected it on the offensive end. McMahon had former college teammates on Calgary that were quoted saying they know who to exploit him and they sure did. That and it was his first CFL regular season start, also the Stamps had to want to get some revenge after that week's loss.

I think Bishop is on the nine game DL, so he's out at least that long.

    Get Maas from the Ticats?

I just read today that he's healing super quick.

Surgery last week and he was seen yesterday not wearing his cast. Damn that's quick.

According to Bishop, he thinks he'll be out four to six and not six to eight like everyone was expecting.

So that's really good news but we've still got a lot of ball to be played before than, including those huge games against Montreal that you mentioned.

From what I've heard Pinball will be a lot less patient McMahon this time around, so I guess that's also a plus.

I'm hoping Mikey looks better with a couple of real targets out there this week.

Avery and Bruce will be back and I think Pinball is going to go with Allen.
