<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>DENVER -- The Denver Nuggets have traded their first-round pick in Thursday's draft to the Charlotte Bobcats for a future protected first-round pick. The Nuggets had the 20th overall selection. Mark Warkentien, Denver's vice president of basketball operations, announced the swap Wednesday. Warkentien says the trade means the Nuggets have no picks in the draft. The Bobcats now have two picks in the first round. Charlotte also holds the ninth overall pick. The move could give Charlotte an option to take both a big man and a point guard in the draft, two areas of need. The Bobcats were impressed with Georgetown center Roy Hibbert when he worked out for the team earlier this month. Hibbert is expected to go late in the first round.</div> Link
Damn, what the Hell?!? Once again McHale dropped the ball and screwed Minnesota fans. All this talk about possibly packaging our two 2nd rounders for a late 1st rounder and now that two 1st rounders that's been traded? We have three 1st round picks next year and you couldn't give one up for the #20?!? We could've packaged the #20 and the two 2nd Rounders to get a late lottery, or something just outside the lottery! Damn, damn, DAMN!!!

I think his rebounding and shotblocking would compliment Big Al wonderfully
I totally agree. He is my number two in this part of the draft and my number 1 if we are speaking on the terms on a player who can come in right away and contribute. Maybe not as much in the long run as McGee, but certainly enough to help us improve.

Nets fans, if you dont pick JJ Hickson with your first pick he is going 20th. For what I have heard around NC States campus is that the Bobcats told JJ that they would pick him, and I saw him at the end of last year with some Bobcat apparel on, and apparently he was doing workouts at the end of last school year for them.
