haha NETS. despite the consensus they'll be horrible, they're an interesting young team to watch. they've gone from Collins and uncle cliffy at the 4/5 (and who else again, nenad?) to a ridiculous number of young athletes - zero potential to tons in a couple of years. how many people on their training camp roster? i just love that VC has no choice to be a leader, the leader no less, on an incredibly inexperienced team in a suddenly daunting eastern conference. i think they clear 30 victories, setting themselves up nicely for what could be one of the worst drafts of all time.
I've said it once and I'll say it again: Vince Carter isn't a leader. You can't be forced into being a leader, you need to take the responsibility. I don't think the Nets will have a clear leader this season, but they do have some vets like Dooling and Najera who can help out the younger guys.
