http://www.one.co.il/Article/120602.html [HEBREW] Rough Translation: <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Will Solomon agreed to terms with the Toronto Raptors of the NBA for a season and will play with another former Maccabi Tel-Aviv player, Anthony Parker. The announcement of the point guard joining the NBA is a tough hit for Maccabi, since he was Efi Birenboim's [Maccabi Coach] leading candidate for the starting point guard position. The player's agent, Steven Hewman, confirmed the report to ONE. ONE learned today (Monday) that the player will undergo the needed medical examinations and is expected to sign a contract soon.</div>
Good to have another PG with the team. He's cheap and should be a great addition. What do you think kobi about Will.
LOL soon as I saw this I went straight to youtube for some highlights. Here's what i found. <div><object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/D5q893YXhOk&"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/D5q893YXhOk&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350" /></embed></object></div>

He's a good shooter and will always get points, but he has no real specialty. I don't see him getting much minutes, but he's definitely good as cheap insurance.
Which veteran NBA point guards would you have? There's like nobody out there right now. The fact that fans were actually considering Daniel Ewing as our "veteran addition" tells you how bad it was. I really haven't seen Solomon play despite having heard his name a bunch of times when Maccabi comes up, so thanks kobimel.

He's a good young player who has a couple of years under his belt. He would be our number 2 guy sliding the unproven Ukic to third string, which is where he should be at the beginning of the season.

Apparently Maccabi was trying to bring him back, and they're gunning for Jason Williams since he signed with us.

He played for Memphis. He really didn't crack the rotation much with all the superstars on the roster like Rodney Buford and Eddie Gill, but he definitely didn't look like a point guard when he did see the floor.
