I can't wait to play against all the S2 people, that's always fun as hell.

I love how I made a post in the RTT about skipping work and being there to draft for this league and then completely forgetting about the draft.

    Thanks for the reminder lol.

I'm fairly happy with how my roster turned out:

    QB: Drew Brees
    WR: Terrell Owens
    WR: Derrick Mason
    WR: Nate Burelson
    RB: Jamal Lewis
    RB: Thomas Jones
    TE: Donald Lee
    K: Jason Hanson
    D: Seattle

Bench: Matt Ryan, Selvin Young, Kenny Watson, Ted Ginn Jr. Devin Hester, Arnaz Battle, Detroit defense

Jamal Lewis is a flat out stud. Jones is solid but I'm worried about his one rushing TD fro mlast year. Not a huge fan of my WR corps besides TO. I figure with Martz in SF Battle could stand to improve on his 600 yds and 5 TDs from last year, Hester is still going to get a few TD recieving plus some return TDs, and Ginn is gonna get most of the passes in Miami. Selvin Young should get 1000+ yards since hes in Denver but hes got some backups breathing down his neck. TBH I don't even know much about Watson but people are telling me they like him in Cincy.

    Matt Ryan sleeper bitches!

This league will be won in the free agency pool and waiver wire.

You have some big question marks at RB, and you only have 4 (I always carry 5/6). Don't fall in love with Selvin Young just yet, Shanahan is notorious for those RB carousels so be careful.

I can't blame you too much for your WR core, this was a deep league and they go by quick, however, your backups are on terrible offenses.

The good news is I play JRay week one so I should have plenty of time to figure it out while I record an easy win.

Fail by me on not remembering Kevin Curtis' hernia surgery (though latest reports are that he could be back before the end of Sept; about 4 games, instead of 6/7 games). Double fail by drafting both Clinton Portis and Earnest Graham (same bye week). The stupid draft went by too fast and I couldn't pay attention.

Run, you also drafted your special teams way too high.

Check when I made my pick as an example. ;)

Sorry if I sounded a bit negative there Run, lol I was just trying to help. You don't really need two defenses either, it takes a slot away from a potential sleeper.

JCB, the Bye Week isn't really a big deal imo. You can't start avoiding the best players on the board because of that.

If anything I should have tried to mention the Kevin Curtis surgery, out of sportsmanship. Just slipped my mind though, haha. :] I want to beat everyone at their best.

The thing is that I was specifically going over players I wasn't going to take earlier today because of injuries/suspensions, and Curtis was one of them. And come draft time, I just completely forgot. I tend to do things like that a lot.
