what's wrong with changing your mind about something? particularly as new facts are known, or new situations develop. For example, would it be unreasonable for someone initially in favor of the Iraq invasion to reverse viewpoint after the government continued to spend hundreds of billions of dollars rebuilding Iraq's infrastructure, while neglecting to repair New Orleans or assist those that lost their homes due to Katrina?
See that's the thing, we should stop trying to decipher the intentions our rivals have. Most people don't hate America, they just have different opinions and I don't like the inference that one party is more patriotic than the other. That notion is ridiculous and it is a divisive tactic.
I guess peace protests don't apply to these people when Republicans are involved. Then, it's time to be unpeaceful.
I was surprised he was as explicit as he was in calling out the Republicans and admitting they'd lost their way. He's got a lot to talk about, actually, on the things his party got wrong and he got right, but that obviously wasn't the time and place. I do think, however, he made a pretty straightforward case for the big things his party and he in particular gets right and the other guys don't. I came away with that impression, but I thought Bainbridge commented well on the same idea: and The biggest issues there being no one in their right mind believes a Dem will build a nuclear plant, and no one in their right mind should think significant tax hikes (as proposed by the Dems) are gonna be good for the economy. I was glad he called out Republicans. They're going to vote for him anyway since Palin is on the ticket, and it weakens the Democrats' case that McCain is a third Bush term.

Fox always wipes the ratings clean, I estimate that would be due to the fact that Liberal voters have more options/channels. I even watch Fox for 30-40% of my News coverage.
