http://www.salon.com/news/feature/2008/09/17/palin_mayor/ Didn't we already try this...more of the same.
Hm, tension between an executive and legislative branch member? That could NEVER happen in the federal government...
Yeah but that's more of the same, not the change we need. Obama will be able to work with Republicans in Congress so well, it will be harmonious. http://dwb.adn.com/news/politics/story/8334949p-8231037c.html
http://sendables.jibjab.com/sendables/1191/time_for_some_campaignin#/teaser/1191 I don't see how things wouldn't be harmonious with a president who rides on a unicorn. It is like when George Washington riding on Nelson, only better, because it's a unicorn and not a horse.
Funny, my impression was that McCain had a much better bipartisan record than Obama... But my point was actually an overarching one. Our system of government is expressly designed for the executive and legislative branches to be trying to wrest power from each other. It's an integral part, not only of the federal balance of power, but of the underlying political philosophy of American government.
So...This guy says thats what she said...Thats the only factual backing for this? Failure. Obama has no bi-partisan record. If Obamas short time he's spent as a Senator is any indication of his willingness to work with Republicans then no, he won't be able to do anything in congress.
