    He's pretty mobile, IIRC.

Who knows...? Maybe they luck out with him?

I agree that it doesn't seem to matter right now. I suppose the view is that they know what they have in Huard and do not think he is good enough, so why not let the youngster get some reps while Croyle is out. If Thigpen can get it together, Huard could be on his way out next year (whether Croyle remains the starter or not). With our O-line not up to it's usual standards right now, Thigpens mobility couldn't hurt. His play wasn't that horrible last week for a guy who had no 1st team snaps. Mostly over and under throws. After taking the snaps with the 1st team this week, I think he will look better this week. He played fairly well in the preseason when he was getting reps. We'll see. I think our best shot right now is with Croyle though. I will be glad to see him back on the field. I think they will take Tebow next year if they pick low enough to get him.

How are some of the rookies playing? Albert, Dorsey, Flowers, Charles, in particular...

Albert looks good so far. He has been beaten a couple of times, but after missing all of camp with an injury, he played every down in week 1 without a breather. Dorsey has been quiet. Flowers is playing pretty well. I think he may develop into a top flight CB. Charles is FAST! He is probably out playing LJ right now, but that has more to do with the O-line than his skills. He can make something happen with his speed when the blocking breaks down and get a couple of yards. All just my opinions and observations, but there they are.
