Javon Walker with a crappy dropped pass that should have been a first down already.

We are actually blitzing and blitzing well- Howard got a sack and the play before that one of the LBs drilled Vince Young after he threw the ball.

Finally they're letting Russell throw down the field. He and Miller still have great chemistry. Javon SUCKS.

    Defense is looking good too.

TD Raiders! Zach Miller is the fuggin truth. Glad we finally got him off the O-Line so he can do some damage in the open field.

Jamarcus looked great there and strung together a run with pinpoint passes on nearly every play. Also showed some great mobility and pocket presence. Definitely gotta get more than a hand on the jersey to bring him down.

Wow the new punter just booted one 71 yards from the Raiders end zone. Good addition lol (hes the guy they cut Edgerton Hartwell for). Possible successor to Lechler?

Offense just laid an egg again. Playcalling has been extremely conservative. Kind of frustrating but I don't them to pull an Alex Smith/Nolan situation either where they tear down his confidence and put him in crappy situations constantly.

Elling hit a very nice 56 yard kick to end the second half.

McFadden had a decent 25 yard run right before that too.

Wonder where Al finds these kickers with freakishly strong legs. Lechler and Janikowski are notorious for their legs but who the hell are these two scrubjays we picked up kicking 71 yard punts and 56 yd FGs (he had plenty of leg too probably could have hit that from 60-62 yds).

Overall pretty good half. Johnnie Lee Higgins blew it big time fumbling the ball in the R's end zone. Vince Young looked pretty bad but it looked like it was as much his own incompetence/having a bad day as it was the Raiders. We did pressure him several times though and our DBs made some plays on the ball. Did an ok job on Lendale White. Chris Johnson burned us but thats inconclusive since it was all second team players at that point. This was a good test for us though as the Titans are a tough team. Our improvement on run defense looks legit but still not great and can't be too sure yet since it was pre-season and only a small sample size.

Offensively we really didn't look very good outside of that one great drive. Russell did look pretty good when they actually called plays for him to pass it dow nthe field. Made a lot of very nice throws, many on the run (better get used to it). Fargas didn't look too sharp but McFadden looked good. Javon was garbage. Curry looked good. Miller was grrrreat.

Oh lol Run, I wanted to see the second half but I caught up in the Phelps meet, etc.

Your conclusions are very valid as far as this game is concerned. I liked how the coaching staff tried to get Higgins the ball again on a reverse in order to lift his spirits. Vince Young has been off for a while too...
