One tip Batum isn't Brazillian, he is French.

Not a bad article, but I tell you you are sleeping on Fernandez. He's the biggest foreign rookie in the league this year, and is probably the second most skilled player on the team (after Roy). He shoots, he passes and he defends better than Webster, and he's miles ahead of Bayless in the passing department.

Bayless is going to be a big let down. Take all the ink you spent on him and devote it to Rudy

    Two things

    Batum is French, not brazilian

Rodriguez is #2 on the depth chart at PG

    Great article

just for reference, Greg is reportedly weighing in at 272 lbs which is 15 pounds more then he weighed at the combine... he also claims to have grown a 1/2 inch.

Also, it appears that Sergio is going to get the bulk of the backup PG minutes over Bayless

I'd add size to their strengths. They are one of the biggest teams in the league.

good work though... I liked the unfair depth part.

If I were a gambling man and looking to score big on a massive long shot, I'd put my money on your enthusiasm.

It's not likely, but much better odds than most people think.

Good, just gearing up for the season. You?

    Woops, good catch. My mistake.

    I said this about Fernandez:

A recently acquired wing that you can count on to contribute this season, however, is Rudy Fernandez, who Portland acquired the rights to from Phoenix in 2007. There is absolutely nothing that this guy can’t do. He’s a big (6’6’’) versatile guy with a great handle, remarkable court vision, freakish athleticism, a ridiculously high basketball IQ, one of the most beautiful shooting strokes in the game, and perhaps one of the biggest hearts to boot. Any coach would kill to have a 23-year-old player like Fernandez, who can also get even better, on their roster.

    That's sleeping on him? :bgrin:

To be fair, I've had a few gin and tonics while sitting here at the airport waiting for my plane.

But yes, that is sleeping on him. At no point did you compare him to some kind of deity or a member of the Justice League of America. (And not Aquaman, god dammit.) Please revise and I'll be happy to give you another dose of my opinion.

I'm just joking. But there are a lot of people on here who think so. I think we win for the first time in 2010-11.

I'm great man, kind of busy with school and work, but everything is alright. Can't wait for another run this season. Drive for 18? :ghoti:
