After seeing that Carlesimo was fired by OKC, I was wondering today how the hell Mike Dunleavy is still coaching the Clippers? The guy has been there since 2003-2004. Here are their records since then:

    03-04: 28-54
    04-05: 37-45
    05-06: 47-35
    06-07: 40-42
    07-08: 23-59
    08-09 (as of 11/22): 2-11

That's 5 out of 6 losing seasons, two of which included less than 30 wins. They've made the playoffs once and lost in the 2nd round. Wouldn't any other coach have been fired already?

He should be fired, but he is the GM and coach now... He did a great job leading us to the playoffs with Cassell, but after that he has turned this franchise into what it has been forever, pathetic.

This team needs new leadership in the coaching position. Flip Saunders is out there I believe.

yeah. with all the talent he has its obvious that there needs to be a more flexible coach. i was tired of him keeping in tim thomas and cat when they were getting abused on the offensive end. this dude has got to go as coach

Flip Saunders. JVG. PJ Carlesimo. Eric Musselman. Avery Johnson. Eddie Jordan.

All our available, although I would have Flip, JVG, and Avery at the top of that list....with Eddie Jordan at the bottom.

Why? He's a great offensive coach.
