This is the year he finally comes to us. He wont come this year. He's coming during the summer. It's ether Wenger or Juan De Ramos.
Wenger likes to have a challenge. He would not leave his youngsters at this time. Try again in a few years time. Plus, the job security at Real is shit.
No, he's definitely right. Being a Real boss is garbage. Nine managers in eight years should give you a hint though. In any case, I agree that Wenger will not be fired and more likely if he cannot turn things around he will simply step down. The board know this man very personally and they understand that if he cannot get things done he will take the honorable approach. One of the reasons why he's one of my favorite managers of all-time. I don't think Arsenal have a chance to win the title, but right now I would be more concerned about making sure they can secure a Champions league spot for next season. Now to the topic though; William Gallas has the experience, but obviously not the class which is what is also needed to be a great captain in football. Look at Del Piero of Juventus or Patxi Puñal of Osasuna. Those two are class-acts and very dedicated to their club to boot. I personally believe that the club choice of Cesc Fabregas as captain was deserved, but not a wise choice. He's still too young and I'm not a fan of selecting young players as a captain at high-class football clubs. The better choices would have been Robin van Persie, Emmanuel Eboué or even Manuel Almunia who has been a special and surprising player for the club since joining from Celta de Vigo in 2004.
Please, not Eboue. He can't even hold a first team position. My choice would of been van Persie, Kolo Toure, or Cesc Fabregas, or perhaps Rosicky when (if) he comes back. Almunia would of been a great choice, but I he has still not convinced me of his consistency.
That's not against any team, but when we do bad it ussually means the coach is doing a bad job. Also M2 mentioned that Real fires coaches to much. That all happened with Perez. If he kept Del Bosque who he fired for absolutely no reason, Barcelona wouldn't of dominated us for the next two years and he would still be the coach.
Wenger and Ferguson know that the likes of Barca and Madrid are only clubs who expect results right away or else Sacking is the best option. Both Ferguson and Wenger know that they would not have that backing like they do at their respective clubs. The only job I could ever see wenger taking up after Arsenal is the french national team, so to all the madrid fans, please stop the wankfest, he's not going there, wank over ramos.
Yep He won't change it around, because he doesn't get involved as much as captains usually do. I know Gallas did not have this either, but at least he had proffesionalism, and experience.
