Anyone else really wish Moose resigned with us? CC/Wang/Moose/Burnett/Joba is just nasty.

If AJ stays healthy, we're going to have a really strong rotation this upcoming season.

The Yankees are talking to Pettite about what he wants to do. If he retires, we'll get another free agent pitcher (Peavy?)

I hope Wang picks up where he left off and that the injury doesn't have lasting effects on him.

horrible signing the guy has 1 good season and he get a 5 year deal at 82 mil? You have got to be kinding me this is why everyone hates the Yankees we could have spent this money on 2 good pitcher in Sheets and Oliver Perez and still had some left over to sign another bat but no we wasted it on a guy that has been hurt most of his career and has had 1 good season...great job cashman :sigh:

Yankees really need to make a jump at Peavy now blow Padres away with a offer now that they have stop talks with the Cubs and the Braves dont seem to want to give up there young guy for him i think it time for Yankees to make the Hughes/Melky/Cano offer for Peavy

    Peavy isn't a FA though.

    However... CC/Peavy/Wang/Burnett/Joba.

    :O

I don't think they need to give up Hughes AND Cano for Peavy, considering how badly they want to dump him.

Of course, all things equal, Hughes and Cano is even a bit less than market value for a pitcher like Peavy.

That offer might be a bit too much, i still have hope in Hughes and Cano should stay.

A starter is so much more valuable to a team than a setup man, especially to a team with an already awesome BP. No point in having Joba waste away as a reliever when he clearly has the makeup to play the more important position.

The only way we get Peavy is if he waives his NTC, and I'm pretty sure he wants to stay out in the NL.

The Yankees are going to have a ridiculously good staff this upcoming season.

    CC/Wang/Burnett/Joba/Hughes

I have a hunch that the Yanks aren't done though.

Pay (with an extension) him to waive it.
