alot of the nets early success was with hayes coming off the bench. With him gone the chemistry off the bench is way off. Teams can really key on the rookies. Boone can't score and teams know it.

You have no idea what he said...if he was cussing the ref, he deserved a T.

The Nets played much better basketball than they did against Toronto. They just couldn't stop Rose and Gordon. It wasn't as bad a game as some of you say it was. Yi improved defensively but couldn't get going on offense. Lopez got going on offense but was bad on defense. Harris and Carter did their thing but Harris messed up in the clutch (which can happen to everyone).

Again, remember what this team was supposed to be like.

    Don't fire Frank.

    Don't trade Carter.

    Just be patient.

Yi is garbage. He hasn't shown much improvement over the season. He shouldn't be starting in the NBA right now. He should be developing his game coming off the bench. But the Nets are stuck with him starting. I hope Thorn pulls off a trade for either a better starting SF or PF and move Yi to the bench or use him as trade bait and let him develop his game somewhere else.

Oh great, Yi vs Bosh next. Frank better not let Yi guard Bosh. Put Yi on Moon and let Simmons guard Bosh.

Or start Haskell or Niagra. Yi has to go to the bench so he understands the importance of defense. He has no clue right now about defense. He goes against everything Frank stands for.

I don't know what fooled you guys into believing the Nets were an above average team. Expect more losses like this one as the season progresses.

Nets couldn't post up Gordon on offense because they were hiding him by putting him on Simmons. Simmons is completely, totally, purely, no doubt about it a spot up shooter and nothing else. He can't put the ball the floor and he can't post up. Whenever he tries he messes up and the Nets waste a possession. I would love to see some stats of the results of Simmons attempting to post up or putting the ball on the floor.

Well now it looks like we can't blame the crowd at the IZod center for this lose.

I'm not trying to attack you but are just you emotional??? You say you don't care about the Nets as a team but you would like to suggest what moves the Nets should make as in coaching change?

I mean if you only concern is VC you should be happy he had a good game and as long as he has a good games some team out there will see him as a valuable asset to their squad.

I mean why do all this cursing and carrying on for a team you do not care for. In fact why even be on a Nets forum board. If your only concern is VC you should be happy he had a good game but the team that you said suck and that you don't care about lost.

I mean it seems weird to put so much energy and emotions in to something you don't care about?

I agree Yi is not a starter, but they've got not choice. Put that together with Simmons and they have 2 guys that are not starters. It feels like Yi leads the league in 1 for 8s. But I checked his game log and this was his first. But he's had a 1 for 10, a 1 for 6, a 0 for 4, a 4 for 13, a 3 for 12 and a couple other stinkers. If he misses his first 2 or 3 shots, you should pretty much sit him for the game, because he's done for the night.
