Well we're .500 now...we've got to work on holding our leads in the 2nd half, it's becoming a trend.

Vince had a great game though bouncing back from last night, so i guess we can take that away from this game and move on.

Yi has been disappointing as of late, he started the season in a promising way but has been pretty bad so far. First, he can't defend, and i see no improvements. Now, he can't even make a basket, let alone open attempts...

I seem to remember a significant number of people not thinking we would win more than 35-40 games. Maybe they forget that the rest of those games would have to be a loss?

you don't know me so i'll give you a pass. I have a great personality and i'm a silly guy...that's all that is. i'm not mad at all. vince plays for this team and it's obvious that their problem is defense and frank isn't helping, so he needs to go.

I read your comment. Your starters outplayed the Bulls starters, but the bench killed you guys.

you still don't get what I'm trying to say. regardless of who's doing the scoring, the nets played poor defense that's why they lost. i'm hopeing this sticks in your head this time.

Yi improved defensively? I guess if guys don't score on every single shot they take against him, then yes, big improvement. You can watch this guy and see he will never be a real good player, ever. He is jump shooter, who if his shot is off, he's done in all facets of the game. He does not have the toughness to go up against hungrier, harder players. And he is so bad on D that whoever he goes against, he'll be outscored and hurt your team overall.

Yeah, when you combine Simmons with Yi in the starting lineup it's amazing the Nets are at .500. It's just a testament to how Harris and Carter have carried this team. But they need help badly if they want to win. And they can win and be a very good team in the East if they can just upgrade their forward positions. Imagine Harris and Carter paired up with a stud PF and a couple of nice role players. Or at least getting a quality SF would help in covering up Yi's struggles.

The nets are actually lucky one of their draft picks is not only starting but playing very well. With more time maybe some of the other draft picks will come along.

Lol. Im dying reading all these comments. Guys...we are 11-11! Isnt this what he all could have hoped for this year?! Most people picked us for the bottom of the East. We have some good potential, and if we play hard the rest of the season and not let losses like tonight get to us, we will be competing for a 7th or 8th playoff seed. Apparently people let the 11-8 record go to their heads. GO NETS!

Agreed...everyone was expecting a high playoff seed when we were 3 games over .500, which in unrealistic. We're actually above where we're expected to be.

vince took a horrible shot in the most clutch time in this game. and harris was kinda dumb too. boneheaded plays by our stars.

this loss doesnt hurt cause nets are young, inexperienced and jelling. big deal. we barely lost a road game. this team is gonna go through peaks and valleys.

Damn....we shoulda won this if Yi and Ryan hit atleast 50% of their field goals, we coulda had the 'W'.

Well, the season is still young, we don't have to press the panic button.........yet.

I can't stand you guys, actually yi played his best defense game of the season, give him some credit, he earned 32min playing time because his defense, he and vc has the best +-value in this game, recently games when frank took out yi, then nets get pulled away by the opponent, what is the reason? you guys just need to watch the video tape. yi's defense is not good, but his defense is underrated, his struggled in offense becasue he hurt his shoulder last game.

You guys use yi in a wrong way, he is a center not a power foward, when he play the 4 in china nation team, he hardly score 10+ points in a game, when he play the 5, he would score tons of points, even more than yao, he is not a shooter, he almost the worse shooter in china nation team, he can't shoot 3's, why he shoot so high percentage 3's in NBA, i just can say your coach is a genius, but his shoot would be inconsistent, i do belive he play center will better than lopez, but you guys just don't agree with me i know, but lopez can't play 4, so is a waste, yi can play power foward, but he just need many many time to adjust, he don't play very well in china nation team if he play the 4, just be patian, he will come arround, it need time, he need to work with his outside shoot it just too inconsistent, the same in china nation team, but i still prefer he play center, in nets he just no chance.

I just don't understand the nets are a rebuilding or a contending team, use yi as a shooter just a waste, no way can develop his game, you guys are all boo for him, he need root for not boo for, he is a international player, a poor kid in a different country, i just feel so sorry for him, so i will defense him against you guys, ha ha..., he will be a great player in two-three years, mark my word, he just need some confident, need to be the focus point, need to be aggressive, he just don't be himself right now, he just like a docile horse, coach say left he go left, coach say right he go right, yes, coach like this kind of players, but some time, you have to show some character, yi do his best, coach need yi become a shooter, then he become a shooter, DH and VC benefit with his game, but you guys still hard to him, this just unfair, he is not a shooter, he just sacrifice his game, yi need to be himself, need to change his game style, period. or nets will not go anywhere.
