What's the big deal. Simmons doesn't take a lot of shots and he plays average in that role.

The problem is he can't hit shots. I can't recall the last time he hit an open 3.

Simmons hit shots, but he's not a clutch shooter. I see him as a decoy for VC and harris.

I don't know why Frank didn't play Simmons this game, what happened?

Did he get hurt or what? or he just sucks?

Or he will come back for the next game.

I like Hassell, he is a solid role player like Bruce Bowen.

By the way, I found that Wade was ignited by Hassell so he tried as hard as he could to shoot the ball, and he made most of them.

Although Hassell did all he could do in the offensive end.

I am seeing a strong correlation between Hassel getting minutes, and Nets losing games where that happens. Hassel should not have seen a second in the fourth quarter, but instead he played almost the whole time and got abused by wade. He is painful to watch, the worst part is loose balls have been landing in his hands lately and thats being confused with "earning" minutes. I always and forever perfer Simmons and Hayes to that stiff.

hassel didnt cost us this game. it was harris turnovers and bad calls. also some bad shots by carter. he needed to go to the rack.

hayes should be starting over simmons and hassel backing him up along with cdr and anderson.

Imo hayes is our best bench scorer, Simmons is not that bad and he plays tough. Hayes seems a little too fragile physically for a starter

Hassell is good at shooting from the baseline, and I like his defense, Wade is just unstoppable, and refs are his best teammates, so we can say he is the most unstoppable of those who are unstoppable.

I like Hayes off the bench. When either Harris or Carter come out his presence off the bench keeps two scorers in the game.
