Yi vs. Yao

Nets vs. Rockets on December 22nd, 2008. Nearing Christmas, let's hope Yi and Yao both come out to play.

 

AhLian where do you live ? Which city do you live in?

 

It'd be nice to see if Yi comes out to dominate the game from the get-go. Maybe that will give him the confidence boost he clearly needs!

 

I live in Vancouver, Canada.

 

Should be a good game. China called and told the Nets to only let Yi shoot and noboby can be in a five foot range of Ming.

i like both YI and YAO my heros! both will score baskets and grab the rebound i watch it on tv!!!!!

 

I think Yi could crack 20/10 this game, I just notice more and more how he plays better against better players (Gasol,Dirk, maybe Yao?)

 

I don't think it's so much good players as much as match ups because when he's matched up against a quick pf, he's non-existent but when he plays a more traditional pf, back to the basket 10 foot jumper type, he plays better D. Although Pau ran a train on him last time... :-(.....

 

I agree 100%. It's the quick Harrington, Marion and Jamison type players that kill him.

This is not the game thread; there is another thread for that. I'm just stating the fact that it's the third match-up between Yi and Yao.

 

Yi SUCKS. Yao will be Yao hopefully he doesn't get hurt. But the chances are since T-Mac is back Yao will get hurt and ride the bench. They don't play to many games together.

 

Oh and Yi doesn't have BALLS or HEART. SO he will never be the man if he doesn't grow atleast 1 of them.
