for the first time in a while it doesnt seem to be that there is a clear cut winner. So who do you think deserves it? The Falcons fan in me wants to say Turner, and the Peterson fan wants to say Adrian, but I personally think they'll give it to Warner.

Peyton is what I'm hearing now. 8 straight wins in spite of everything, 7 comeback drives this season. It'll come down to him or AP if he has some huge game.

There is no real hype for anyone. I think it'll be either Adrian Peterson or Peyton Manning.

If Michael Turner doesnt win MVP it is bullshit...Come on the guy lead a Falcons team to the playoffs that was suspose to be one of the worst team in the NFL he has having a insane season he should be MVP we all knew AP was gonna have a good season because that line is insane and Peyton Manning is well Peyton Manning and you could never really count the Colts out...Michael Turner should run away with the MVP award also Eli Manning,DeAngelo Williams,Thomas Jones and Chad Pennington should all get some first place votes

I really dont even think AP should be in the top 5 everyone knew he was gonna have alot of yards because of that line but the guy doesnt even have 10 td

I'd have to go with Peterson...to lead the league in rushing yards with absoloutly no passing attack to help....not to mention that if the Vikings make the playoffs it will be because of him carrying the offense....I know some might say the "D" saves them....but all they can stop is the run. If Minnesota takes the Division this weekend...."AD" could win it....

It's Peyton. If AP had won the last two games, then maybe him. Turner is a good pick, but he would share votes with Matt Ryan.

If Pennington has a good game and wins next week, you might have to put him the discussion.

Then it should still hold true for AD if he can win it for Minnesota this weekend. He still leads the league in rushing yards with no help in the passing game....and with a win 'Sota still makes the playoffs. But if Minnesota gets in with a loss by Chicago and not because of winning thier next game...I'd have to count him out.

But if they win and AD has a big game against the Giants....I would still have to lean his direction.

I would whole-heartedly agree with you on the Turner comment....Ryan deserves just as much recognition for Atlanta's winning season as Turner

I agree Minny has no passing game but if you look at the four parts of a football game. Rushing, Passing, Rush D and Pass D. Excluding ST. Minny has 2 of the four (Rush and Rush D) While Indy only has one (Pass). Because the D is bad in Indy and they can't run the ball, I think Manning is the first choice, AP 2, then the Falcon Pairing splitting votes, then the top Defenders can get some vote like Harrison, Ware.

I wila dd that AP was my MVP choice before last week. The loss did hurt. Granted is was against a good team. But Manning was great Vs Jax.

The Vikings have a better D and their passing game is better than our rushing game. Similar things could be said about the Falcon twins, who I don't consider to be ranked as high as AP. We're ranked 31st in rushing and we average 3.4 yards per rush, yet the Colts have the most efficient Red Zone offense (very astute play calling down there) and have won more games. And he's had to do it on the fewest possessions in the league because of our run defense. Peyton's the MVP; Peterson has 8 fumbles (not counting a fumble that occurred on the exchange against Atlanta) which is quite high for a RB as well.

i really dont get how AP would be MVP over Turner...AP oline is INSANE anyone could rush for that many yards and he really doesnt have that much more then Turner and he doesnt even have 10 td...Turner is the MVP Falcons where horrible last year and shouldnt have done anything this year but they have mostly because of Turner...AP should not win MVP niether should Peyton and this is comming from a Colts fan because even thou they dont have a running game they still got one of the best passing game we all knew comming into the season the Colts where gonna be in the playoffs even though they started off like shit

Colts have no D and no run game. 1/6 aspects = Manning is reason for the 1 part
Falcons have a passing game and a running game.

Manning has done everything for them. And come back to win games late. He beat my team coming back. It's Manning. Ryan will get votes, that will take away from Turner.

Ok here is my list if Chargers/Dolphins make playoffs

Rivers - Dude is having a insane season without healthy LT/Gates and really anyone on offense and should run away with MVP if SD makes playoffs
Pennington - Miami went from worst team in the NFL to a playoffs thanks to Pennington the guy has no WR and a ok running game at best
    Turner
    Manning
    Manning

AP doesnt deserve MVP he doesnt belong in the top 10 he gets all of these yards because of the Oline but he cant get it in the end and he fumbles to much

The Colts Running game has never been this bad, and Harrison looks like anyone's third option this year.

Rhodes and Addai have been noticeably worse than LT though. I'd love to have SD's running game.

The Falcons don't have one sole player I would credit as the MVP.

Pennington is a game manager and has better than an "ok" running game, especially compared to what Rhodes/Addai has produced this season. Rivers has a decent case but teams weren't focused on him at the start of the season. When he became the main offensive cog his stats were nice but still dipped. Manning is first in the league in comeback drives by a great magnitude, we've got the fewest possessions but the most efficient Redzone offense at 70%, and highest completion rate on third downs. He also has a perfect QB rating on 11 fourth down attempts. He's maximizes our scoring opportunities with no relief at RB any point in the year.

I think if the Chargers do make the playoffs, in their horrible conference, Rivers has to at least get some attention for MVP. You can throw out all the stats you want Huevon, but he has simply been the best and most consistent QB all year long.

    Pennington deserves a look, too.

So does Michael Turner and AP.

There is no clear cut MVP for me. Manning, Rivers, and Pennington are all good options. So are the two RB's.
