Not a blockbuster by any means, actaully a big yawn, but did not see it posted anywhere. http://realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/56170/20081224/francis_dealt_to_memphis/
Another brilliant Chris Wallace move... Stevie Franchise and a second-round pick in the late 40's or 50's. He's just collecting some great assets over there.
It's obvious. Chris Wallace is using his 2002 scouting guide by accident and he really believes that Darius Miles and Steve Francis could vault them into the playoffs. He can't believe he's getting these players on the open market and now thinks that the rest of the GM's in the league are losing a step.
Yes, but he held true to his vow to never play for Vancouver. He sucks, but at least he's a man of his word. BNM
I don't understand what happened to Franchise. He used to be so good. I know he had health problems. It's been sad watching guys like Francis, Penny Hardaway, and Chris Webber fade into nothingness over the years.
I looked into that; it seems Memphis only has 14 guys including Francis. So no need to drop anyone. barfo
That's good news. Still one spot to bring Bonzi back. Assuming that Woods (Qyntel , not Tiger) is not available.
And extremely fun to watch. I miss watching the old Magic. I hated them at the time, but they were still fun to watch. They had one of the best starting fives in the history of the game. Penny, Nick Anderson, Dennis Scott, Horace Grant, and Shaq. Not much of a bench though.
Haha, release Antoine Walker and then pick up Francis and Miles. As far as what happened to Steve, he got traded to the Knicks. Marbury disease is contagious. He didn't play much there and had already lost his all star status when he got traded to Orlando. He kind of fell off due to lack of playing time.
