    ****'N Nets.

Blow an opportunity to go 2 games above .500 with two games against the Bobcats and they still can't get their shit together for homes games. So pathetic.

I think the Bobcats requested it be played at IZOD again.

Decent defensive teams will completely shut down the Nets because Harris just isn't a very good decision maker at the moment. The dribble drive offense was ment not only to make use of Harris's strengths, but to cover his weaknesses. He doesn't have exceptional court vision. This is why superfast combo guards with court vision like Wade and AI are so special. They were good/quick decision makers when teams adjusted to stop them. Too many times Harris gets caught in a trap where he either jumps up and forces a pass, or takes a stupid shot in hopes of the refs bailing him out. Right now Vince is still the Nets best PG, and Harris should be the one playing off the ball more often, not Vince.

Also i've noticed that Lopez has become sort of a blackhole on offense (for lack of a better word). I personally like his post game, but sometimes he should look to make the extra pass when the double comes, he's forcing too many things. I don't want him becoming another Eddy Curry.

Well a young kid will eventually learn how to pass out of double teams. But did you notice how the bobcats are passing so well tonight. Thats a larry brown trade mark. Except when he's coaching AI or Meburry. Eventually maybe by end of the season the bobcats will be a decent basketball team. Give credit to brown here, he's a great teacher/coach...

You know what's interesting? This season Frank has rarely used Yi down the stretch in 4th quarters or over time. He has no confidence in keeping Yi in the game. He has replaced Yi using Anderson, Hassell, Dooling. What does this say about the Nets PF of the future that his play makes him a spectator in the 4th?

If this didn't feel so true, I'd be laughing my ass off.

I go to these games, night after night, waiting for the Nets to get it going. Finally, they give us something to cheer about in (blocked shot then Dooling dunk), the crowd is all into the game, yelling, cheering, hoping, pleading...and then, airball, missed shot, rebound, missed shot, rebound, missed shot. This is SOOOO agonizing to witness.

arent we like 5-9 overall this month????

Frank never prepares this team nor gives them any energy. Hopefully we can get the W tonight... this month has been HORRIBLE on what was viewed as an acceptable winning month for us.

Its because the curse of the swamp. The curse was lifted when Kidd got here, and it appears to have come back when Kidd left...

We're actually 5-8 by my count. Interestingly, in November (plus opening night on October 29), we were 9-7.

I have always looked forward to December with all the home games. This year, the trudge to the IZOD arena has gotten tougher and tougher to make.

Sorry, you guys can blame this on the coach all you want, and while he does have some deficiencies, the majority of whats wrong will always be on the players. No coach will be that successful when you have no real starting SF and PF on your roster. Thats too many holes in a starting lineup to be competitive on a nightly basis. Now you have to ask 2-3 guys to carry the team every single night and unless your Lebron, Kobe, Wade or the likes it's just not going to happen. Get a real power-forward, or at least one that's a banger and plays tough de. and watch what happens. We may still struggle on O, but defensivly there will be absolutly no need to double down anymore and in theory our perimeter de. would be better due to less rotations. Lopez is a real solid defender and a great shotblocker, but he can't cover 2 men in the paint.

You telling us not to blame Frank for the dribble drive offense. I guess we can tell Anderson to bang out at the 3pt line. What you're saying don't even make sense.

Newsflash.....Anderson, Yi, Simmons, Hayes....all are here because there supposed to be good outside shooters..... Hayes is hitting his, Simmons hits sometimes, and teh other too cant hit the broad side of a barn right now. Dribble drive off. is used to "Dribble, Drive, and Kick it to shooters." If the shooters arent hitting then it's not going to work. Again since you don't understand it, Frank cannot make his players hit these open shots, and yes their open. But hey we'r just going to blame players stinking up the joint on the coach all of the time.
