Could we get KG? It's obvious he's going absolutely nowhere with the franchise, and Ricky Davis hasnt helped him to get wins either. So, I basically think that Minny needs a franchise rebuild, obviously you want to build around KG, the marquee player, but he's had too many supporting casts that always make the playoffs but dont make the title run or just collapse in the middle of the season. So I've come up with this trade idea will probably never happen in reality, but I just wanted some imput. Btw, I tried this out on ESPN's 'trade machine'. And the salaries all match. Here it is: Washington trades: Antonio Daniels, Brendan Haywood, Antawn Jamison, and future 1st round draft pick. Washington recieves: Kevin Garnett, and Trenton Hassell. Minnesota trades: Kevin Garnett, and Trenton Hassell. Minnesota recieves: Antonio Daniels, Brendan Haywood, Antawn Jamison and future 1st round draft pick. Lineup for Minnestota PG Jaric/Hudson/BanksSG Davis/Daniels/McCantsSF Jamison/Reed/DupreePF Blount/Griffin/MadsenC Haywood/Madsen/GriffinThats a pretty sharp defensive lineup, except Jamison. But Jamison a big matchup problem for other teams actually. He can create those crazy wild hook shots around the basket against smaller 3s inside, or he can step outside and knock down perimeter shots against big 4s who are used to defending the paint. Jaric is tall for his position and he is good defending smaller PGs. Haywood is actually better than his stats show. He doesnt allow anything in the paint and is still young and has alot of room to improve. Then you have depth in your bench, Hudson and Daniels are good playmakers backing up PG and SG. Daniels is a combo guard too, so he can play PG or SG. That bench is filled with defensive players. There are 3 great things about Daniels. 1. He's a great playmaker. 2. He teaches alot of PG skills to Arenas, good veteran leader. 3. He hardly turns the ball over. Not to mention he will take on any task to defend other teams' superstars. Griffin is a decent shotblocker and long range shooter, and Madsen is the hustle player on this team. Then the young guns Banks and McCants can learn from AD when they get their PT. Lineup for WashingtonPG Arenas/TaylorSG Butler/Hassell/HayesSF Jeffries/Hayes/ButlerPF Garnett/Jeffries/RuffinC Ruffin/Booth/ThomasThis lineup is very strong, and the froncourt is so big. We have a 6-11 player at SF, 7-0 player at PF, 6-8 player at C but he's very bulky. And if you run into a pick by Ruffin, it's like running into a brick wall. Even we lost our 2nd leading scorer in Jamison, Garnett imeadiately fills that gap. We still have a big 3, only this time we have legitimate PF in our big 3. Arenas/Butler is a good backcourt, not Gil/Hughes good, but its definately going to get the job done. Arenas has so many good qualities but also he has amazing teamates in Garnett and Butler. Arenas will also get his apg up because he can feed it into Garnett knowing that KG can score around the basket rather than taking a 30 ft jumpshot. Butler is a beast on the boards, it doesnt look like it, but he's always in there to grab offensive rebounds, this guy has been getting double-doubles last few games. Jeffries isnt the scorer we expected him to be when we drafted him in 2002, but he's good on defense. He always runs back on transistion defense to block someone's shot. As you can see, we're limited at the PG spot, Taylor is just a rookie, and doesnt get much PT. And Arenas cant play every game with no rest on the bench. Jeffries brings that much needed ball handling. Another why he's useful. Now KG brings that post presence we havent seen or had in YEARS. He can hit the outside jumper or finish at the rim. He's also one the game's best rebounders and passers at his position. Ruffin is like our Mark Madsen. He just hustles to get loose balls everywhere. He has more value than you think he does. We aqquired Trenton Hassell for a reason. Defense. He's one of the best defensive players at the SG position. He's like Daniels on man-to-man defense, but Hassell has the height advantage. Jarvis Hayes: pure shooter. Too injury-prone though. We might look to move him in the future. Booth is also defensive-minded and can even hit a jumpshot every once in awhile. So what do you guys think?

I dont think so at all if the Wizards want KG then the Wolves are gonna ask for both Jamsion and Arenas for KG and probably Jaric or Hudson. But I dont think this trade would help out both teams, now if we still had Kwame Brown then maybe somthin can happen cause the Woles wanted a young kid to replace KG maybe this deall would workHaywood,Jamsion,Kwame,Daniels and 1st rounder for KG,someone and Hudson

KG is the Minny's franchise superstar, but we can keep Arenas while trading for him. We dont even have to add Butler to the trade. If Kevin McHale wants more pieces than Jamison, Daniels, and Haywood then thats his problem. All I'm saying is that salaries match. You're also underrating Haywood, he has more potential than Kwame. And this wouldnt benefit the Wizards? WE GET A POST PRESENCE. Somone who can actually score, rebound, block shots, and pass around the basket. It helps Minny because they get another matchup problem for teams in Jamison and we give them veteran leadership in AD along with playmaking. Then you get huge upside in Haywood who is great defensively. I just think this trade helps both teams defensively. Also those salaries dont match at all ^

I know that Im just saying Kwame is more of a bait to the Wolves then Haywood.

Please, LA fans are telling me that Kwame cant even make layups, he's decent defensively, but he's pretty soft on the offensive end. He simply just cant create his own shots.

Look before he got traded to the Lakers before he srill had some hype, before the Butler trade he would have been a better bait then Haywood
